People generally regard telling a lie as a bad things and warn their children not to do so.  However lie of the fiction literature works is always evil?  If  you never admit the worth of fiction, you might deny many writers' remarkable novels some of which are worth receiving Novel prize.  I admire the greatness of fiction works and therefore, I cannot agree with the idea that we should read only non fiction books. In my experience, fiction works like novels, mysteries, poetry and so on have different merit to readers.

First of all, artificial stories can be more enjoyable and dramatical for readers, which make the story more exciting.  It is because fiction works are composed of some not real stories that authors made artificially.   They can insert many devices in story telling in order to entertain readers.  For instance, biography is the series of facts about past respectable historic person and therefore, we might be bored of reading the plain story.  But mystery or love stories always are page turners and excite us.  Therefore, readers can enjoy the stories filled with dramatized things, without boring.

Not boring is very important aspects for us to learn something from reading.   Everyone cannot learn and keep their contents in mind effectively from detesting materials.
Interests to the books increase the number of our reading and enhance the way of express ourselves and vocabulary.  We might gain important massage about life or new idea of making innovative things from books, in which authors' imagination is gathered .   In this way, reading is not only enjoyable but advantageous for improvement of ourselves and fiction gives us the great impetus to read many books.

Some people who every lie might accuse novels or other fictions and they might think there are nothing from wrong things.  Of course I disagree with the idea.  It is because  even if the story itself is not true, the story never hurt others.  Moreover most of readers know well that the stories are not true story and dare to read fiction.
