| << It appears that all secondary-school students should study art and music. Although some say that they do not need to do so and this should be left to the choice of students since students have studied these subjects satisfactory by the time they finish their primary schools, it is more likely that study on arts and music hold importance at secondary schools. This is because, through these subjects, students can improve their sense in music and art that can enrich their lives as well as their skill to express themselves. All students should study art and music at secondary schools, for this further opportunity to learn about these subjects are likely to bring them more pleasant life. At secondary schools, it is possible to teach them about a little more difficult skills in art and music, which helps students to improve their skills in arts. These skills, though they may not directly relate to their career or entrance exam for universities, can play important role in interesting students in the subjects and widening their knowledge. Art and music can brings students fun and enjoyment, which can help to release stress and feel relaxed, which is important for secondary students nowadays who are highly stressed with their study as well pressure from the society. For instance, learning to how to sing a song provides them with chance to learn skills to sing it well, which can widen their knowledge and which can be used when students actually interested in the subject. These classes on singing can also allows student relaxed through letting them to do something other than studying at desks. On the basis, it can be arguable that all the students should learn arts and music at secondary schools. It appears that students need to study music and arts at secondary schools, because it can help them to learn to express themselves though these subjects. Through such activities such as painting, singing, drawing and so forth, it is possible for students to express themselves. When they do these activities, they can use their feelings and emotions to make their work or to add more seasonings to their work. Through this, students are given some more chance to express their feelings, which can also makes students more relaxed. Some may say that the choice if they study music and arts at secondary schools should left to individual students, as they have learnt these subjects before they get to the secondary schools. It is true that students may somehow develop their creativity and sense of arts by the time they grow up to secondary school students. However, as previously mentioned, these classes at these secondary schools provides them with giving them more opportunities to learn wider knowledge, to be relaxed and to express themselves. These all considerations lead to a thought that all students should learn art and music. In conclusion, it can be arguable that all students should learn music and arts at secodary schools. This is because students can learn further knowledge and skills of these subjects, whose process can be fun. Another reason for this is that students can learn how and where to express their feelings. The opponent of my position say that this choice should be left students because they probably have learned enough by the time they finish their primary school, nonetheless these two arguments for music and arts over ride this. |
