<< I would like to invent a robot that can do all the household work, if I could invent a new product. This is because most people in today's world seem busy, and cannot spend their time on household jobs as much as before, which means that the demand is huge. Another reason is that these busy people are increasingly likely to find it a valuable use of time to do some other things such as hobbies. The first reason I would like to invent a new robot that can do ranges of housework such as cleaning, laundry, cooking, and so forth, because the product will have very high demand, as people are busy in these days. It appears that people got busier these days thus come to run out of time to do the housekeeping tasks mainly because of the following reasons. Firstly, length of hours that working people have to work is increased, possibly due to the decline in bargaining power of labour unions caused by the higher labour cost in the country than outside world. Secondly, more women who used to take this household work are engaged in paid jobs on an account of improvement in educational attainment of women and social recognition that women should be given opportunities to work outside as well. Thirdly, children who seem to do some household work became busy because many of them are busy studying or going to some other schools such as English schools. On the basis of this, there is no doubt that people today are busy and run out of time to do the house hold work, which leads to a consideration that the robot will be highly demanded and sold well if the cost is successfully maximised. Another reason why I like to invent the robot is people, even when they have time to do some household work; they like to spend their time on such thing as hobby and meeting friends. As preciously mentioned, because people became busy, they would like to use their free time not on housekeeping work, but on hobby, meeting with some friends, shopping, sports and so on. This can be possible if there are the robots to do the household work instead of us, so that we do not have to spend time on this task but on enjoying ourselves. Suppose one person has to work from 9am to 10pm almost everyday on weekdays. This person has few times to have some enjoyments because of his work. He or she probably like to spend their time on something rather fun or relaxing, and they may choose to go out for some sports, go shopping, seeing people or just sleep in all day, if possible. However, this is not possible if the person lives himself or herself or is the one who is responsible for these tasks within the family. The robots that can look after these tasks instead of him or her, so the robots will enable him or her to have sometime to enjoy him or herself. In conclusion, if I would invent a robot that can take the household work. This is due to the fact that people run out of time to do this work, and that, even when they have time to do the work, they would rather spend their time on something else.
