| << I agree with the statement. In my country we say that, "the spirit of 3 years infant continues until he is to be 100 years old". We can know from this proverb that the first 3 years are especially important for a person. In our childhood we learn many things that are important to form our characteristics. That is, the twelve years, especially the first 3 years, take a great role in forming our characteristics or personalities. On the other hand, we can learn a lot of things after the twelve years. I want to say that the twelve years are not important in gaining some knowledge. So even if you didn't study in your childhood, you don't have to mind at all. You can improve your ability from now on. On top of that, we should not train our body too hard in the twelve years. This is because too hard exercise may inhibit the growth of the body. Yet, I want to declare that our childhood is very important for forming the basis of our characteristics. As I have said above, our childhood is very important for our characteristics. Whatever jobs we do in the future, our characteristics is the most important. I think so because we can gain the necessary or required knowledge even after we have our jobs. So we don't have to concentrate on aquiring some knowledge in our childhood. Of course, children have to learn and gain some knowledges to some extent, that doesn't matter so much. Some parents believe that the first twelve years are the most important. They try to educate their children too much. I don't deny what these parents do, because it is natural to hope their child to spend a happy and satisfactory life. But what I want to emphasize is that parents should understand that gaining or aquiring some knowledge doesn't matter so much in this stage. On top of that, too severe physical exercise would prohibit the growth of the child. Until our bone structure has grown to the full, we should not do artificial exercise. I mean, playing some sports with friends is good, but doing some exercises such as pushing up are not necessary for a child. In conclusion, I agree with the statement that the first twelve years are important for a person. I want to agree especially in forming a person's characteristics. We can gain some necessary knowledge even after we become old. And we can strengthen our body even after we become an adult. But however hard we make effort, we can't change the memory of our childhood. So I think it is most important for a child to spend his or her childhood to the full. I believe this would lead to the good characteristics of a person. |
