| << I disagree with the statement that a person' childhood years are the most important years of the persons' life. Although a person' childhood is important in terms of forming their original or basic characteristics that can influence on his or her whole life, the decisions that are made in his or her later life is more important and significant element how the person spends their life. This is due to the fact that ones experience more things and make decisions to change themselves and to lead to more preferable life much more significantly after they pass their childhood. Some argue that childhood is the most important period of time in his or her life, for the original basic, and fundamental characteristics of the person is formed and built during this time period. It seems that one' basic personality, behaviour and attitudes are formed in this time the most significantly by his or her parents but also others when they are really young. For example, if parents treated their children and bring them up in a gentle manner in their childhood, it is more likely that the children grow to be gentle adults. This character that are built in childhood of individuals appears to influence their entire lives and permanent characteristics, because, even if the original characteristic can partly be changed, they tend not to completely forget what they have learnt in their childhood. Returning to the example of the child with a gentle heart, this person is likely to remain gentle whole more or less through his or her life, even if the harsh surroundings may modify the original characters partly. On the basis of this, it can be arguable that childhood is important in one' life. However, time in childhood is not the most important in his or her life, that is, their later period of time is more important. It seems that person' years after they passed their childhood is more important than their childhood, since what they choose after they grow up has more influence on their entire life. People go through many things and learn much more things as they gain ages, which will probably changes their many parts of their original and basic characteristics that are modified in their childhood. When they grow up, they choose to change what they originally have and start choosing how they spend their life, which will have more significant impacts on their entire lives. This is the case both in their characteristics and the way they live their lives. As for the first one, if they choose to change their personality, even though it may be impossible to get rid if the originally characteristics completely, they can change them. Moreover this changes seems to be permanent, because these changes are not given but decided according to their wills. As for the latter, the choice how they live after they grow up have more direct influence on their lives, because this choice actually deicide their actual decision that makes up their lives. This is significant after they grow up, since important decisions in lives always come after they grow up. Example for this would be on your education, career, marriage and so forth that all directly relates to their futures and their daily lives where they can no longer depend on their parents but where they have to responsible for themselves. These considerations lead to an argument that one' time after their childhood is more important than his or her childhood. In conclusion, it can be believed that a person' adulthood is more important than the person' childhood. Even though it is admitted that the childhood is important in terms of formation of his or her basic characteristics that can has more or less influence on their entire life, adulthood still seems more significant. That is, people make their important decisions to change their characteristics and how they life their lives after they grow up. |
