<<      Since I am a medical student, the leader of a group means a professor of a medical school. For us, medical students, we have many ways to choose. One might choose to try to be a professor. Another might be a leader of his own hospital. I think there are mainly three ways for doctors. That is, to remain in a university, to go out for related hospitals in the community, or to have his own hospital. Whichever way we might choose, we must be a leader in the future.      You might be surprised that I have said that we must be a leader in the future. You may think that doctors who work in a university hospital under some professor seem not to be a leader. They might not be able to be a professor, but they will be a leader of another institition when they become old.      Of course, most of us want to be a professor in the future. This is because professor means to be the most competent doctor in the dividion. But at the same time, to be a professor includes some disadvantages. All of us want to do medical treatments as our job. We want to improve our skills to cure patients. To do this, we must struggle everyday. We must spend much of our time for medicine itself. But if we become a professor, we must spend our time for some office works. I don't know exactly how professors spend their times, but for me, professors seem to spend their times too much on office works. This is because they must own the university itself as well as their daily treatments. Or they must attend various meetings as one of the leaders. For me, this seems to be a disadvantage to be a professor.      On the other hand, if we are a member of a gorup, not a leader, we can do our works to the full. That is, we can concentrate on our works without caring about other things. That would lead to the improvement of our skills or abilities. But we can't remain to be a member. We must take role as a leader as we get older. I think this can said to all kinds of jobs. Everyone of us must take some role as a leader when we get old.      In conclusion, to be a member might improve our skills or abilities than to be a leader. If you are a member of a group, not a leader, I think that is a chance to improve your skills and enjoy your works to the full. When you get older, you must be a leader of some group and contribute to the group. So I think it is better for young people to be a member of a group than to be the leader of a group.
