<<      I think a private room for each family member is the most important. An ordianally house in my country consists of several rooms. A living room, a dinning room, a kitchen room, a bath room, a toilet room, a traditional Japanese room, and rooms for each family members. Of course every family doesn't have all these rooms. For example, my parents live in a small mansion, and they don't have enough rooms for each family member. My mother uses a traditional Japanese room as her private room. As I have said above, now I love my private room the most. But my favorite room has changed as I get older.      When I was a child, I didn't like my private room, a children's room. After playing outside with my friends, I must spend alone in my private room. In a living room or my father's room, I could spend my time with my family. Listening to what my parents talk was very enjoyable and happy time for me. Until my yonger brother was born, I spent most of my time in a living room.      The living room continued to be my most favorite room until I was a junior high school student. But this was not because I could spend time with my family. When I was a junior high school student, I liked watching television. Everyday I watched TV for almost 3 hours in a living room. After having supper, watching TV without caring about anything was very enjoyable time for me. In this sense, the living room was the most important room for me until I entered a high school.      A bath room was the most important room for me when I was a high school stuednt. I didn't like to watch television any more. I spent most of my time in my private room. Of course I loved my private room. But I loved a bath room the more. We, Japanese, like a bath room very much. We pour the bath tub with full of hot water, and spend for 20 minutes or more in the bath tub. By doing so, we can refresh our fatigue body and can be very relaxed. When I was a high school student, the bath room was the most important for me.      As I have said above, now my private room is my most favorite and important room. I don't know exactly why I love my private room. In our daily lives, we communicate with many people. That is very enjoyable experienses, but sometimes we feel some stresses in the communications. In our private room, we can spend our time freely without caring anybody else. I think this might be the reason why I appreciate my private room the most.
