At children's special days like their own birthday or Christmas, aduls give many useful presents for children. I feel many of presents are educational for their receivers in each way but among these great gifts, I especially recommend  to choose a musical instrument as the most helpful present for children's development, since I know  from my experience, musical instrument tell children not only the fascination of music but also the importance of cherishing something, making an effort to achieve their goal.

 

  Giving children musical instrument, as you know, becomes a precious chance for them to know the enthusiasm of music and acquire the feeling for music through practicing the instrument.  Playing the musical instrument tells them how interesting music is and enhances their creativity.  It can be acquire when people are only under  seven or six years old and that is why infants should have chance to play the musical instrument.

 

  Experiencing of practicing musical instruments also let children know the importance of continuing something in order to achieve their goal.  For instance, when children are given the chance to perform at the small concert that their mentor held, they are forced to play the musical instrument frequently.  They might feel like quitting hard practice because of reducing time for doing other thing like playing with friends or feeling irritated by their slow progressing of skills before they can play the instrument well.  However, the series of experience, they do not only acquire the skill of playing the instrument but also know the importance and wonderfulness of keeping trying something challenging, which will make them patient person enough to deal with any problems in their lives in the future.

 

  Musical instrument sent to children will be their treasure as well as the excellent opportunity to experience to cherish something.  Musical instrument have to be treated carefully and cleaned frequently to keep its appropriate sound.  If children have musical instrument and take care of it for themselves, they will learn the importance of cherishing something from their treasures. 

 

 In this way, sending a musical instrument to children is very helpful for their development because they can learn lots of important things other than the way of treating the instrument.  In fact, I myself had learned the fascination of music itself, as well as the importance of keeping practice and self satisfaction as the result of the endeavor from painful piano lesson for about eight years.  Even now, after quitting playing piano, these experiences are my important discipline.  Music instrument is therefore, very educational gift for children.
