| << I agree with the statement. When we play a game, we only enjoy playing it without thinking too much. But in most cases, we play it with someone else. For example, when we play a board game, we play it with 5 or 6 people. So games can be said to be one kind of communication. In sport activities, we learn more about life. This is because sport activities are not only for a leisure purpose. On the other hand, we can't learn about life by playing TV games. We don't need to interact with someone else in the games. When I was a junior high school student, I loved to play Monopoly. Monopoly is a board game, in which we sell and buy lands and gain money. We usually played it with 4 members. To win the game, you must communicate with other players strategically. But however hard you communicate better with others, you can't be a winner if you don't have luck. You learn from the game that you must have luck in your life. When we do sport activities, we usually compete with others. One of my favorite sports is swimming. Though I didn't a good swimmer, I wanted to swim faster. So I practiced hard to swim faster than my friends. But some of my friends could swim much faster than me. This taught me that efforts don't necessarily lead to a good result. Finally, I think TV games don't teach us anything about life. When we play TV games, we usually play it alone in our room. We don't need to interact with someone else. If you feel bad about the game, you can easily reset the game. Life is not always like this. We can't reset our life so easily. This is because we can't learn about life by playing a video game. |
