Most of you might not know the present situation of blood horse for racing.   Despite of the much annual number of the horse given birth,  most of them die of injury until they mature enough to become race horse.  Moreover,  after retiring, most of the lucky horse, except the winning horses of the biggest and highest ranked races, did not have enough lack not to be killed for lack of spece and money to keep them until they pass away naturally.  I would like to save such horse's lives as much as possible and therefore I wish to use the land, as broad meadow to foster such old horses. 

 

  The reason why I would like to save them is that horse can give us many opportunity to consider important things as a human being, because of their physical beauty and tragedy as one of economic animals, race horse.  Their  beauty, especially its figure and movement move us as we look at beautiful scenery or artistic things.  However at the same time, shocked to know their severe reality, we are bound to consider how happy human beings are, guaranteed the right to live freely and how much animals we sacrifice for our own benefit.  It is because race horses have to run every day at the cost of their lives since their legs are so vulnerable that if broken bone usually means death for them.  To the worse, blood horse cannot live in wild since it  is yield only to run fast and have insufficient sufficient physical strength to live without care of keeper.  Thus, abolishing horse race means extinction of blood horse.  Thinking about this paradoxical things, we have to keep it in mind in order for us to live our lives as hard as possible and not to sacrifice animals unnecessarily.  I suppose that we should keep horses after retiring as possible in the lawn field, in return, since they tells us our blessed situation as human being and the wonderfulness to live freely.

 

 Because of these reason, I would like to utilize the land to cherish the retiring  race horses to save as many of their lives as possible.  Of course I could not let all the horses, but at least I can compensate for their hard working as race horses more than now.  Besides,  the ranch might give precious chance for children to touch on horse and to become gentle people.
