We receive gift from others on special day such as our birthday, Christmas, when we have something to be cerebrated.  Since some special days are annual days, receiving presents from others on special days is not rare for us.  Therefore,  whenever we are given gifts from others, we are delighted, most presents from others are not impressive.   Despite these situation of received presents, it is happened that our presents become impressive one.  What kind of gift  we cannot forget ?   I guess it is when the present we received remind us the memory about the present, it becomes unforgettable one. 

 

   As for me, I have two memorable gifts.  First one is a pendant Mexican lady gave me, when I went to Mexico for performance of chorus group, which I had belonged to until I became sixteen years old.  It was given to me with the gratitude of our performance by a strange lady.  I was very glad not only because the pendant looked nice, but also because I could realize that our performence moved others mind from the gift.  In short, this gift stand for our successful chorus and good memories of the journey.

 

  Second impressive present is a pen from my piano teacher.  The last day I learned piano from the mentor, she gave it for the celebration of my entering college and token that she taught piano me.  Whenever look at the pen, the painful but wouderful memories of practicing piano comes to mind.

 

 When considering the reason for impact of some impressive gift, from my experience, I feel it is due to the memories related to the gifts.  Unforgettable presents is reminiscence of the impressive memories.
