Everyday we see lots of celebrities lead flamboyant life on several kinds of media like TV , radio, magazine and so on.  They usually wear showy luxurious dress, live in deluxe mansion, and travel around riding on first class seat.   We watch only their superficial showy life, such as living in the best condition and talk with other celebrities friendly or playing sports everyday, which ordinary people do as their hobby,  then gaining large amount of money.  Therefore those who look at only their superficial life might feel that famous entertainers or athletes' works is not worth several million dollars.  However I disagree with the idea. It is because their great effort to do good jobs should be compensate for high salary.  

 

  Celebrities' jobs for which they gain much money cannot be done easily.  Entertainers on TV or radio shows literally have to entertain millions of audience and listeners with their lots of topics, and wit.  In order to keep their quality of talk, they always check current incident and learn it deeply in order to analyze it adequately and interestingly.  Before and after the show they appear, they have to continue their research for their seemingly easy talk.  Otherwise their talks would be dull and they lose their fame and jobs as an entertainer.

 

 Athletes also do their job, playing sports at the cost of other personal entertainment.  To strengthen their body enough to win the sports game, they cannot eat their favorite food freely.  I personally can guess  how tough such kind of stoic life style is,  because I have a sweet tooth.   They usually care about calorie and nutrients they absorb from food and spend most of their time on training. 

 

Adding to these characteristics of their harsh job, their jobs invite very stressful situation by its flamboyant appearance. They cannot rest their mind so frequently since they are always exposed to others' eyes as the object of curiosity.

 

Thinking about their life in more detail, we have to conclude that famous talents and athletes spend almost all the time on being connected to their job, while ordinary people enjoy doing other things like hobby or relaxing in their private rooms.  Therefore, I think such famous people should be given lots of money for its compensation.
