<< I think famous athletes and entertainers deserve millions of dollars. For example, some famous baseball player earns much money every year. Or some TV entertainers or Hollywood stars earn unbelievably much money. I think they deserve millions of dollars because their life itself costs much money. That is, they need much money because of their famousness. On top of that, their salaries are not paid by our tax. They can earn money because we pay them, they don't be paid by our country. Moreover, they pay much tax to their nation than ordinaly people. Someone might disagree with me, and say that famous people don't deserve millions of dollars. But I agree with their high salary because of the reasons I have stated above. Some famous baseball athlete earns much money. Of course they don't do any physically important work for our society. In other words, they don't contribute to the developement of our country at all. They just play baseball, and just playing a baseball can be done only by children. In such a sense, their job, entertaining us by playing a baseball, seems not to deserve much money. On the other hand, some famous entertainers can also earn much money. For example, TV comedians and Hollywood stars can earn billion dollars every year. They alos don't do any beneficial work for a scientific purpose. They just entertain us. And too much entertainment would harm our daily lives. That is, we sometimes spend too much hours watching TV. That is always damage our daily curriculums. In such a sense, famous entertainers don't deserve high salary at all. But as I have stated earlier, they don't be paid by our nation. Most industries in our country is supported by our tax. That is, when doctor do some treatment to a patient, he will recieve much more money than he recieved from his patient. Contrary to that, athletes and entertainers don't be supported by our country. They gather their salary by ordinaly people like us. When they are accepted by their audience, the audience pay money for their performances. That lead to their high salary. They also pay very high tax to our country. They pay much taxes because they earn much money. In my country, the higher your salary is, the more you have to pay taxes. For example, a person who earns 10 thousands dollars pay 1 thousand dollar tax every year. On the other hand, a person who earns one million dollars must pay half a million dollars tax every year. So I think celebrities deserve millions of dollars because they earn without the help of taxes.
