<< I would advice my friend to go on a vacation than buying a car. Of course each choice include its own merits and demerits. If my friend goes on a trip, he/she can enjoy it and have a good memory. But spending all money on a trip has no practical, economical values. On the other hand, if the friend spends money on a car, he/she can use the car at least 10 years. If spending the money on a trip, the moeny would be lost within only one month. In this point, buying a car seems to be a good choice. But according the reasons I'm going to tell in the following paragraphs, I darely recommend my friend to go on a trip than buying a car. Buying a car could be a good choice, because it is more practical. Though my country, Japan, is a small island, we can't live without a car. Most family in Japan have their own cars. As you know, buying a car is not an easy thing because of its high price. We have to pay at least 4,000 dollars to get a car. In this point, buying a car surely seems to be better than going on a trip. But as I have stated in the first paragraph, I want to recommend my friend to go on a trip. Vacation gives us many things that we can't buy with money. Of course, if the moeny is not a gift, that is, if the moeny is from the friend's salary, I don't recommend going on a trip. We shouldn't spend our salary for just a precious experiences. When considering our limitted salary, we have to spend money more practical way. But in this case, the money is a gift, and I guess such a gift is a chance that God gives you. We have to spend such a money for our own improvement and our joy. When going on a trip around the world, we would meet many situations that we can never experience in daily lives. We can meet unknown people and we can feel differnce of cultures. By going around unknown places, we can think of many things away from our lives in a home country. Such a experience will cultivate our life by giving us more broad views. Of course practical life is important. We are not live in an ideal world. We have to work for our daily clothes, foods, and for our family. But if you recieve a money, and if you have enough moeny for your daily lives, you can spend the moeny for a trip. Because that might be a gift from God, you can improve yourself and have more wide views by seeing around many countries and people.
