<<      I also think that movies are popular all over the world. I think this is mainly because advertisements of Hollywood is very effective. Without paying our attention to movie information, we know what movies are now on the air. And Hollywood's movie stars are very attractive. By watching their performances, we can be very excited. Sometimes we even choose a movie by its actor than its title. On top of all that, according to translators' efforts, we can understand foreign movies without knowing their languages.      The power of Hollywood can not be underestimated. We see Hollywood movies more often than Japanese movies. Of course even in Japan, we have some popular domestic movies such as Jibri, famous animation movie series. But most of love romance, action, comedy, and war movies come from Hollywood. I think this is mainly because Hollywood's advertisements prevail all over the world.      And it is true that we are attracted by Hollywood stars' excellent performances. In some cases, a title or contents of a movie don't matter so much. We see the movie because some famous actors such as Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, or Josh Hartnett are in the movie. And in most cases, we can be satisfied with the movie after watching it. Their high quality performances never make us feel boring.      When we see foreign movies, we don't need to understand a language of the country. This is according to the great efforts of competent translators. Their translations are so great that I'm often impressed by their work in a movie theater. Recently, I watched Oceans' 11, a Hollywood movie, and I didn't looked its translation intentionally. I couldn't understand what actors say at all, though I understand English a little. So it can be said that, without the great efforts of translators, we can't enjoy foreign movies, thus foreign movies can not be popular all over the world.
