The Girls

This section will teach you all about how to get all of the girls to like and marry you. It is necessary to impress each of them to get the most out of this game. Certain events can happen, such as getting more photo album pictures, or seeing dramatic scenes.
The few strategies that are common between all of the girls are that you should talk to them every day, treat them right, and give them music boxes as much as possible.
To propose marriage, you must have the blue feather, which can be found at Rick's tool shop for 980G. The feather will only appear after you have a kitchen and at least one girl has a pink heart in their text box.
  
 

Name: Karen
Occupation: Waitress at the bar.
Home: Vineyard
Interests: Making and drinking wine, and people who have a strong immunity against liquor. Give her any kind of berry, like veryberries, wild grapes, or strawberries. Karen also likes to dance, so be sure to at some of the festivals.
Does not like: Fish (so don't give that to her), bugs, or strangers. Until she greets herself politely when you see her, never talk to her twice.
Hangs out at: Always on the beach on Sundays. Other than that, you can find her randomly in one of these places: bar, vineyard, or mountain carpenter's front yard.

Birthday: Winter 29
Person interested in her: Kai, the vineyard worker.
Other facts: Karen's dream is to become a famous singer and dancer, and she wants to travel the world. Her dad, however, is constantly yelling at her because he doesn't want her to leave. As though it looks like the two hate each other, Karen's dad really doesn't want her to leave because he thinks he would miss her. Between all the quarrel, Karen's mom is caught in the crossfire.
Major events:
Karen gets sick: on a random day when she has a green or yellow heart in her text box, Karen will get sick and will only feel better if you drop by the vineyard residence to comfort her. While in her room, don't mess with the furniture.
Karen sprains her ankle: On another random day when she has a green or yellow heart, Karen will sprain her ankle close to the big tree at the top of the vineyard. When you see her, pick her up and carry her to her house. If you call for help, she will dislike you a bit more, and she will begin to like Kai a lot more, making a bit harder to beat him to the punch.
Karen gets angry: There are many times where Karen will get angry, so this one combines all of those into one. There is nothing you can do to make her feel better when this happens. They include: First time going to the vineyard, Karen gets angry at her dad, then rushes out. Karen yells at Kai because the vineyard is falling apart. Karen will get drunk in the bar, and Kai will comfort her.
Karen and you get stuck in the cellar: When Karen has a yellow heart, you may have a dream about you with Karen when you both were kids and you got stuck in the cellar. The same thing will happen if, after awakening, you go to the cellar. Karen will give you a tour, and then the door will get stuck. When this happens, go to the hole in the upper left corner of the top floor. Say that it was you who let her out a long time ago.
Karen thinks about leaving: There are several times when you can go down to the beach and see Karen longing to leave. It will be either Kai, Elli, or Ann trying to persuade her to stay.
Karen leaves: If Karen does not have a pink heart in her text box by the third spring, she will leave and you will never see her again. Go down to the beach to see her leaving.
 
 

Name: Maria
Occupation: Receptionist at the library.
Home: Mayor's manor
Interests: Learning, reading, studying bugs and eating cabbage. Grow her lots of cabbage on your farm and give her one each day. Show her bugs if you can find them, and stop by the library to read the books as much as you can.
Does not like: The only thing that Maria doesn't like is your dog.
Hangs out at: Tuesday through Sunday she will be at the library, making her easy to access, with the exception that sometimes she goes on vacation from the 1st of a month to the 10th. Whenever Maria is not at the library, she is in one of five places: Next to the tree that you can climb up in the mountain, next to the fisherman's tent, next to the church, in the goddess's area, or in her own house.

Birthday: Winter 11
Person interested in her: Harris, the mailman
Other facts: Maria is often pressured to buy false goods at a very high price from the wandering salesman in black. She is also very shy.
Major events:
Maria gets sick: When Maria has a green or yellow heart in her text box, she will be sick in bed at her house. The same thing happens as when Karen gets sick. For more info, see Karen's section of major events.
Maria sprains her ankle: Same as Karen's description, only she will fall inside the library.
Maria gives Harris a letter: One day in the lower section of town, you might see Harris dropping by the library to deliver her mail, and then Maria will give Harris a letter.
Maria is saved: Maria is being pressured by the salesman in black, and just when she's about to buy a cheesy product from him, Harris comes in and beats up the salesman. After this, it won't be long until the two get married.
Maria wants you to read: When Maria has a yellow heart, you will have a dream about reading a storybook with a little girl. After awakening, go to the library and read a book to bring back memories of your childhood.
Maria's dad buys from the salesman: Wow. This is the most dramatic part of the entire game and should not be missed. After Maria has a yellow heart in her text box, go to the lower section of town. You'll see the mayor apologizing to his wife because he just spent lots of bucks on some strange thing he bought from the peddler in black. Go out to the crossroads to see Maria talk with the peddler, and about how she thinks he shouldn't cheat others. Maria gives him a gold pendant to remember what God's word is. The next day, the peddler leaves the pendant in your mailbox. Give the pendant back to Maria to make her happy.
 
 

Name: Popuri
Occupation: Florist
Home: Flower shop
Interests: Gardening, growing and picking flowers. She likes it if you grow flowers on the farm. Likes to eat strawberries.
Does not like: Bugs
Hangs out at: On sundays, she is in the goddess' area. Through the rest of the week, you can find her underneath the tree which you can climb, on top of the cliff that you can reach after climbing the tree, in the shop, or right outside the shop.
Festivals:
Fireworks: Mountain top. Climb the tree to reach her.
Star Night: Mountain top
New Year's: Church
Birthday: Spring 22.
Person interested in her: Gray, Ann's brother and me.
Other facts: Popuri is very friendly, but gets angry at her parents very easily. She has red eyes. Freaky. And if you ever get to marry her your a lucky man!
Major events:
Popuri gets sick: When she has a green heart, she will get sick on a random day when you walk into the flower shop. Just go talk to her to cheer her up.
Popuri sprains her ankle: One day she sprains her ankle in the mountains. Make sure you carry her home or else she will dislike you a bit more.
Popuri wants a flower: Another day when she has a green or yellow heart, Popuri will come by the ranch and ask for a flower if you are growing some. Say that she can have one to get her to like you.
Popuri sells seeds to Gray: One day, Gray will walk out of the flower shop after buying flower seeds, and Popuri will stop him because he forgot to take the seeds with him.
Popuri admires Gray's flowers: One day on the Green Ranch, Popuri will be discussing with Ann about how she is glad that Gray planted flowers on his farm.
Popuri loves Gray: Popuri will be at the Green Ranch one day talking to Ann about how she likes Gray very much. After this, they will get married very soon.
Popuri wants to know who you like: When Popuri has a yellow heart, she will ask you if you like any girls in town. If you say yes, say that you like her to probably raise her to a pink heart, and get ready for marriage.
Popuri's life is in your hands!: When Popuri has a yellow heart, you will have a dream involving her falling off a cliff and someone saving her. When this happens, go up to the tree behind the carpenter's house to see her hanging on to the cliff for dear life. Climb the tree and pull her up to save her from being a pancake. Well, actually, the drop isn't that big, but I just wanted to make this sound cooler.
 
 

Name: Elli
Occupation: Cake baker.
Home: Bakery
Interests: Cooking, baking sweets, fishing, collecting eggs, milk, and fish, people who buy cakes from the table in the bakery.
Does not like: Bugs, squirrels.
Hangs out at: On Sundays, Elli will be in the mountains on the carpenter's side of the river. Through the rest of the week, find her usually in the bakery, sometimes next to the fisherman's tent, sometimes in the flower shop, and rarely at the beach.
Festivals:
Fireworks: Bakery
Star Night: Church
New Year's: Church
Birthday: Fall 1
Person interested in her: Jeff, the owner of the bakery.
Other facts: Elli never shows her anger, but will show she is annoyed. She also never seems to show her love to you until you try to marry her. From the first time you meet her, to the time she has a pink heart, she always says "I'd love to get fresh milk and eggs."
Major events:
Elli gets sick: When Elli has a green or yellow heart, she gets sick in bed on a random day. Go inside the bakery to make her happy.
Elli sprains her ankle: Elli will fall down in the mountains when she has a green or yellow heart, so carry her home or she will dislike you more.
Elli's grandma dies: If you are not inseparable friends with Elli by the second spring, you may see Elli's grandma sitting in her normal spot outside the bakery, only she will be sleeping. When you see this, do not talk to her unless you hate her guts, because upon talking with her, she will pass away right in front of Elli's and your eyes. Kinda sad. In my 5 year old game though, I am married to Elli, and her grandma has not even shown any signs of dying.
Elli fishes with Jeff: One day when you enter the mountains, you will see Elli fishing with Jeff, the bakery owner, and they are talking about how the fish aren't biting. After this, it won't be too long until they get married.
Elli's birthday is gossiped: One day, the fisherman will ask you if you know Elli's birthday. If you say you know, he gets excited. If you don't know he will tell it to you. (Submitted by Wren210.)
Elli wants eggs: Elli needs eggs to make cakes for the Thanksgiving festival. She will ask for six of them. Then she asks how much she owes you. If you tell her they're free, she'll like you more, but then insists that she pays for them.
Elli remembers her past: When she has a yellow heart, you will have a dream about how you get sick from eating mud pie when you were little while playing with a girl. That girl is Elli, but you have long forgotten each other since then. Anyway, go to the area of town if front of the library to see Kent playing house with May. Elli will come in and remember the time she played house with you, and ask you if you were the one. Say yes. She will get embarrassed, but will then like you more.
 
 

Name: Ann
Occupation: Rancher
Home: Green Ranch store
Interests: People who raise good animals. She especially likes it when you win the cow contest, horse and dog races. She likes to see your chickens, and your dog. After Ann decides to not waste the wool she cuts off sheep, she learns that knitting is very fun, so give her wool and encourage her. Ann also likes corn.
Does not like: Like all the others but Maria, she hates bugs. That's all.
Hangs out at: On thursdays, she can always be found in the mountains, either at the goddess' area, or at the fisherman's tent. The rest of the week, she can be found at those two mountain areas, usually on the Green Ranch field or in the stable, and one time I saw her at the vineyard.

New Year's: Bar
Birthday: Summer 14
Person interested in her: Cliff, the wanderer.
Other facts: Ann is very outgoing and willing to make new friends. If fact, she's so nice that before you even know each other's names, she will give you her pony for free! Ann never seems to ever show love to you that much, but that's because she starts off so friendly.
Major events:
Ann gets sick: Read the other girls' description for this one. Enter the Green Ranch store to cheer her up.
Ann sprains her ankle: Read the other girls' descriptions. Find her on the Green Ranch pasture.
Ann gives you back your cake card: When Ann has a yellow heart, and you have a cake card, as you leave the ranch she will stop you and give you your cake card which you dropped on the way out. Tell her you like sweets to get her happy.
Ann gets embarrassed: When Ann has a blue heart, this may happen in the fall. Go up to the tree behind the carpenter's house to see her laughing about how a rabbit buried an acorn in the ground, and in the spring, the rabbit will forget about it and the acorn will sprout. Then Gray will come in and scare Ann. He makes fun of her about how she is leaving all kinds of candy in the cabinets at home, then forgetting about them, and the candy gets stale, just like the rabbit. Look who's talking now!
Ann bumps into Cliff: One day, Cliff will arrive at your house to give you some fish. On his way out, he will bump into Ann and meet her.
Ann bumps into Cliff again: One day, on the crossroads, Ann will bump into Cliff.
Ann scolds Cliff: One day, in the mountains, Ann will be telling Cliff to get Cain, his bird, to stop eating poor little animals.
Ann drops by: Every once in awhile, Ann will come by to see your horse.
Ann and you save some birds: When Ann has a yellow heart, you will have a dream about you two falling out of a tree. After awakening, go to the tree behind the carpenter's house and help Ann save the bird that fell. She will get happy.

Double Girl Cinemas
There are lots of cinema scenes in this game that involve two girls at once. In order to get to see these, you must woo both girls that are involved in it, and you must also have a little luck. Have fun finding them!
Karen and Maria- One day next to the carpenter's house, you may see Maria trying to pull a grasshopper out of Karen's hair. She will get angry.
Karen and Popuri- One day, by the fisherman's tent, you will see Popiri giving a flower to Karen and asking her to make wine with it. 
Karen and Elli- On the beach, Elli will try to talk Karen into making up with her dad. Karen just accuses her of butting in on her business.
Karen and Ann- On the vineyard, Ann will talk about the same issue that Elli does.
Maria and Popuri- Behind the flower shop, Popuri will find a bug, and remembering that Maria likes bugs, she gives it to her.
Maria and Elli- In the first area of the mountains where the fisherman's tent is, Elli will cook Maria a fish. Maria compliments Elli for her skill at cooking.
Maria and Ann- Ann starts getting angry at Maria for buying a bunch of watermelons from the salesman in black. Then, if you talk to Ann, she will ask you if you'd like to buy one. If you say yes, Maria will not feel that it was such a big mistake.
Popuri and Elli- In the bakery, you may see Popuri talking to Elli about how you'll get fat if you eat too many sweets.
Popuri and Ann- You must also become good friends with Gray to get this one to work. After Gray plants flowers on the Green Ranch, Popuri will talk with Ann about how she likes them so much.
Elli and Ann- Ann is trying to make cakes in the bakery, but she keeps on messing up due to her lack of cooking skills.
