Recipes. Well, you can't use them to cook anything, but they are fun to collect. If you need to know how to get 'em, here's how. Some of the recipes may take several tries before the person gives it to you, and some may have to be during a specific season. You can check to see which recipes you have gotten by reading the message on the wall in your kitchen. I have broken these down into certain categories and have made a checklist. This page contains only the two pictures above, so you should be able to print it out very easily. Please note that you must have talked to the person at least one time before or they won't even notice the item you just gave them

Spring Recipes:

Turnips:
Cream of Turnip Stew- Give a turnip to the mayor's wife.
Turnip and Cabbage Preserves- Give a turnip to the old man who runs the moon mountain restaurant. Cabbage works too, but it is more costly than a turnip.

Potatoes:
Fried Potatoes and Bacon- Give a potato to the mayor.
Mashed Potatoes- Give a potato to Ann
Potato Pancake- Give a potato to the shipper's daughter. (May, the little girl dressed in red.)
Garlic Potato Beef- Give a potato to Harris, the mailman.

Cabbages:
Rolled Cabbage- Give a cabbage to Maria.

Medicinal Herbs:
Sesame Dandelion Greens- Give a medicinal herb to Saibara, the artisan. This one must be gotten in spring.

Edible Herbs:
Herb Rice Ca:ke- Give an edible herb to the old woman at the moon mountain restaurant. Must be done in spring.
Miso Soup With Sprouts- Give an edible herb to the potion shop owner. Can be done year round, but you might as well do it in spring just to get it off your mind.

Veryberries:
Veryberry Wine- Give some veryberries to Kai, the vineyard worker.

Summer Recipes:

Tomatoes:
Cream of Tomato Soup- Give a tomato to the shipper while he's in the bar.
Twice Cooked Tomatoes and Greens- Give a tomato to Popuri's mom.
Tomato Soup- Give a tomato to the priest.
Tomato Rice- Give a tomato to Karen's mom. This one takes awhile.

Corn:
Corn Fritters- Give some corn to Ann's dad.
Corn Pasta- Give some corn to Popuri's dad.

Walnuts:
Walnut Cake- Give a walnut to Elli's grandma. It shows up in the recipe book as "Herb Rice Cake."

Fall Recipes:

Eggplants:
Eggplant With Miso Paste- Give an eggplant to the midwife.

Mushrooms:
Mushroom Rice- Give a mushroom to the lead carpenter.
Mushroom Salsa- Give a mushroom to a harvest sprite, the little red elves. They must know English.
Char Stuffed With Mushrooms- Give a mushroom to the carpenter with the axe.

Wild Grapes:
Hot Spicy Wine- Give some grapes to the bartender.
Steamed Clams With Wine- Give some grapes to Karen's dad. This one can take forever. It is a bit easier if you know Karen, and Karen must not have left for the city.

Other Recipes:

Eggs:
Stuffed Omelet- Give an egg to Gray, Ann's brother. This one is about as hard as the Steamed Clams With Wine.
Spice Tea- Give an egg to Cliff, the mountain man with brown hair. This can only be done in winter. Make sure that you didn't leave poor Cliff to starve on your porch on the 18th of the first spring.
Bread Pudding- Give an egg to Elli. Can also be done with milk, but that is more expensive.
Spa Poached Egg- Give an egg to Kent, the little brunette.

Milk:
Handmade Butter- Give some milk to Rick, the tool guy.
Cinnamon Milk Tea- Give some milk to Jeff, the master of the bakery.

Strawberries:
Strawberry Jam- Give some strawberries to Popuri.
Strawberry Champagne- Give some strawberries to Karen.
Strawberry Dog- Give some strawberries to Stu, Kent's brother.

Fish:
Fried Char- Give a large blue fish to the fisherman.
Grilled Trout With Cheese- Give a medium or large fish to the carpenter who hangs out at the bridge/spa area after dark.
