Toffee
Makes about 14 paper cupcake toffees.
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup water
1 tbsp vinegar (brown or white)
Stir over high heat until dissolved and bring to the boil. Cease stirring and boil vigorously.
Test consistency by spooning a little syrup into a glass of cold water. If the syrp pops as it
touches the water - you will get hard toffee (about 7-10 minutes). Fill paper cups about 1/4 to 1/3 full
and wait until cold to eat.
