THE TEN REMEMBERANCES
---------------------

For the sake of the unification of
the Holy One, blessed is He,
and His Divine Presence,
I hereby fulfill
the commandment of the Ten Rememberances,
which every person is obligated to remember
every day.
And they are:

1)  the Exodus from Egypt;
2)  the Shabbat;
3)  the manna;
4)  the incident [involving] Amalek;
5)  the assembly at Mount Sinai;
6)  that our ancestors angered
    the Holy One, blessed is He, in the desert,
    especially with the Gold Calf;
7)  that Balak and Bil'am conspired
    to do [harm] to our ancestors,
    so that we may know
    the righteousness of Adonai;
8)  the incident [involving]
    Miriam the prophetess;
9)  the commandment,
    "You shall remember Adonai, your God,
    for it is He Who gives you the strength
    to acquire wealth";
10) and the rememberence of Jerusalem -
    may it be rebuilt and reestablished
    speedily in our days;
