I was raised in a loving Christian home, and I am very proud to stand and proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour of my life still today.
The night before I was born, my mom went into labor at church. The congretation was standing up singing, and the preacher had announced to everyone that they could sit down. The entire church knew that I was about to come into this world, because an unsher had just come to tell my grandparents that my mom and dad were leaving because my mom was in labor. My grandfather was shaking his head "yes", all the while standing up, while the rest of the congregation was seated by now. So I was exposed to the Christian way of life before I ever entered this world. I praise God every day for giving me loving Chrisitan parents, who raised me with a stern yet loving hand led by God.
I am by no means a perfect Christian, but who among us can make that statement? God has blessed me so richly that it is hard to believe it is all possible. But I know through Christ, ALL things are possible. He has seen me through some very difficult times in my life, just as I know He will lead me again when I am in the valley. For I know that my God is walking with me, both on the mountaintop and in the valley low. We do not always thank and praise God for the good things when we are at our lowest points, but there is ALWAYS something to b thankful for.
I have often been accused of being a sickening optimist, because I try to see the good in all things. EVERYTHIGN that happens in this life is for a reason. We may not know now or ever for that matter, what the reason is, but nothing that happens is just because. I know that I have gone through trials to strengthen me. I may not always react the way I should, but I am just human. Each day that I live I pray that God would lead me in His footsteps, to be more like Him.
He is still working on me!
If you are unsure of your life, if you are unsure of your future, pray, and ask God to help you. He is always there to listen.
