This page is dedicated to my paternal grandmother, who I called Mamaw. She passed away almost ten years ago, now, but she is always with me in spirit. She is the one that taught me to cook, garden, and many more invaluable lessons. Soon I am going to have a link on this page to an ONLINE COOKBOOK, with many of the recipes being my Mamaw's. She was a cook that didn't measure things with cups and teaspoons all the time, sometimes it was a little bit of this and a pinch of that. So look forward to many SCRUMPTIOUS recipes soon!
Mamaw, you helped make me the woman I am today. Thank you for touching my life so richly. I love you and miss you more than you'll ever know! I would give just about anything in this world to see your face, to laugh with you and tease your "floppy ears" just one more time. I know that is not possible in this life, but one day I know it will come true. I love and miss you so muchj! I wish you could have met Al... he is a wonderful man! And you'd be proud of me, I fattened him up! He takes care of me, and I take care of him. He feels like he knows you because I talk about you so much.
I also want to remember both of my grandfathers here. I was very young when they both died, but they too, will always have a place in my heart. I love you Papaw and Paw!
