Who's the one who's always there
Never too early-never too late,
Who can always figure out a better plan?
And again she's there when no one else will stand.
She taught you everything you know,
Good from bad and sin is wrong.
She would teach of God's great love,
Paths that were straight and led to heaven above.
She's the one we're honoring today!
For it's through her efforts in every way,
We are here this Mother's Day.
Our lives have her handprints,
No matter where we roam
And if all goes as normal,
More Mothers will be born,
To carry on the work only she can do-
And eternally be rewarded with a special crown of jewels.
The Christian Mother is so valuable
In this modern age-
And if She teaches the truth of God,
Her children will learn to pray.
They'll bring happiness and joy as only They can do.
And all will live happily together,
As a family ought to do.
