sword into the ground, the shockwave destroys a number of Guymelefs. Escaflowne chops its way
through 3 more Guymelefs, slaughtering them with ease. Escaflowne stands in the wreckage,
Hitomi stands atop its shoulder.
General Adelphos: The Dragon's power is incredible. Folken, did you know of this?
//Folken stands before the 4 Zaibach Generals.
General Adelphos: Did you know the Dragon would be Zaibach's greatest obstacle to the unification
of Gaea? Did you know?!
//An army of Escaflownes head to Zaibach.
General Adelphos: According to His Excellency Dornkirk's Fate Predictor... ...a force of Dragons
will invade Zaibach.
//The army of Escaflownes vaporize the Zaibach Floating Fortresses with beams of energy emitting
from their shoulder energists.
Dornkirk: Indeed.
//The Generals rise from their seats. Dornkirk appears behind Folken on the monitor.
Dornkirk: As the gravity between the girl from the Phantom Moon and the Dragon increases...

//The army of Escaflowne's salute Hitomi, who is atop the original Escaflowne.
Dornkirk: ...we must seperate those two elements.
Steel General: Seperation won't be enough your Excellency.
Platinum General: He's right. With our force's potential...
Bronze General: It will be easy to destroy Escaflowne.
General Adelphos: Your Excellency, please order us to move out.
Folken: There's no need for that.
//The generals look at Folken, surprised.
Folken: Instead of stirring up the situation... ...I believe working a different kind of gravity

//Back in Asturia, people walk down the streets. Everyone is inside a tavern.

//They hit their glasses together and drink. Allen looks sadly into his cup.
Hitomi: Three weeks after escaping Zaibach, we finally returned to Asturia.
//Gadeth pours Allen some more drink.
Hitomi: The people of the Crusade seemed to have hoped for the same thing... ...and we were all
able to meet again.
//Merle hugs Van.

//Van looks out the window at the Phantom Moon.

Dryden: She must of recongnized my virtue. Is that strange? I think being a king suits me. If we
combine the might of Asturia and my economic power... ...Zaibach won't be able to invade.
Power isn't the only factor in war. You've got to use this.
//He points to his head.
Van: They're not the kind of people who'll buy into such ideas.
//He thinks of Dornkirk.
Van: Their purpose is to destroy Gaea. Even if you become the King of Asturia...
Dryden: Thats pretty harsh...
Eries: They were engaged to begin with.
//Eries comes in.
Eries: Its only natural for Dryden to succeed the Asturia family.
//She walks up to Allen.

//Hitomi pauses again and thinks about what she's doing.
Hitomi: If Dryden and Millerna get married, Allen will... What am I thinking...?
Millerna: You sound so childish.
Hitomi: I'm sorry.
Millerna: Can you do a reading of my future?
Hitomi: Future...?
//Millerna opens the window and sits on the window sill.
Millerna: I don't know if this is right or not. I'm confused when I look at your face.

//Hitomi runs out and runs down the walk out of the castle.

Van walks up to her.
Van: Hitomi. What's wrong?

//Meanwhile in Dornkirk's Fortress...
Technician1: Fate level, increasing.
Technician2: Move a Terma to Norte.
Technician3: Five hundred to chaos critical point.
//Folken steps through a door into a large room.
Dornkirk: No. At this rate, the Dragon and the girl from the Phantom Moon will come even closer.
Folken: Don't worry. The Dragon is not brave enough to cross the line.
Dornkirk: The line, you said?
Folken: Yes.
//Meanwhile, Van and Hitomi are at a windmill in Asturia.

//Hitomi drops the Piscuss. In Zaibach, the Fate Director's level increases. Folken stands there

Technician2: Fate prediction, critical. Chaos is unavoidable.

//Hitomi looks at Van working on Escaflowne's sword.

//Folken smiles.
Van: Let's defeat Zaibach together. I need your power of Atlantis to defeat them. You might be
able to bring forth an incredible power from Escaflowne. So, help me. Please.
//Hitomi looks angry and leaves. She leans over a bridge and throws a stone in the water.
Hitomi: Idiot.
//In Zaibach
Technician1: Check, complete. No problem.
Technician3: Fate density, stable.
Dornkirk: That was too close. Folken, how is the operation going?
Folken: It's ready, sir.
//Allen stands at his father's grave.
Allen: Father.
Eries: How unusual... ...to see you in a place like this, since you don't pray to god.
//Allen starts leaving.
Eries: About Millerna... Please restrain yourself. She's finally receiving good fortune.
Allen: I'm relieved to hear that. If you're saying that, then it must be true. Dryden is a good
man. If this marriage was only to fulfill his ambition to become king... ...I'd have slain

//He walks away.

change the vector of her heart to someone other than the Dragon. Fortunately, I've

//We are shown 2 hairs in the cells that Hitomi and Allen were held in in the last episode.
Folken holds them in his hand.

to Naria and Eriya.

building. Meanwhile, Merle looks at the rain from the windmill.

//Hitomi sees a couple nearby kissing and runs away. Meanwhile, Allen walks back from the
graveyard. In Zaibach, they prepare the Fate Redirector.
Technician1: Thirty to activation of the Fate Accelerator.
Folken: Listen, Eriya, we'll play Allen Schezar and Hitomi Kanzaki.
//Folken and Eriya stand in the center of the room on a long bridge.
Eriya: Yes, Master Folken... I mean, Allen.
Folken: Good.
//Naria stands beside one of the Technicians and flicks the coin.
Technician1: Ten to activation.
Folken: The stage is set, and the actors are here. Now's the time to move the vector of their
hearts. Redirect Fate.
Technician1: Redirect Fate.
Technician2: Redirect Fate.
Technician3: Redirect Fate.
//The machine is started. A light shines over Folken and Eriya. Folken raises his hand, Eriya
does the same.
Folken: Hitomi.
Eriya: Allen.
//They hold hands. Dornkirk watches.
Dornkirk: Turning... turning... The wheel of fate is turning. And everything begins.
//Folken and Eriya step closer to each other.
Folken: Strengthen your feelings.
Eriya: Allen.
//Allen walks down the rainy street and thinks of Millerna.
Millerna: Allen!
Technician1: Elemental particles of fate, accelerating.
//Meanwhile, Hitomi continues to walk through the rain.
Hitomi: Where am I? Geez, I can't see anything. I should hurry back.
//She thinks.
Hitomi: To where? To whom? Do I have a place to go back to?
//Meanwhile at the windmill...
Merle: Master Van, where are you going?
Van: To find Hitomi!
Merle: Leave her alone! You'll catch a cold!
//Van runs out to find her. Meanwhile...

with someone of this world. What am I doing in a place like this?
//She steps on a bridge.

//Allen walks on to the bridge.

//Allen puts his hand on Hitomi's shoulder as Folken and Eriya do the same.

On the bridge, Allen holds Hitomi in his arms.

//She thinks of Millerna and backs away from Allen. In Zaibach...
Technician1: Elemental particle density, decreased.
Folken: Get rid of worldly thoughts, Eriya. Think of me... with all your strength.

Eriya: Master Folken.
//On the bridge...
Allen: Why?

materials.
//Allen puts his hand on Hitomi's.

//Allen and Hitomi kiss while Folken and Eriya do the same. Dornkirk, Naria and the others watch.
Lighting strikes through the sky once more.
Dornkirk: Wonderful! A new fate has begun. A new fate has...
//The rain stops and sun shines on the bridge. Van arrives and sees what's happening.
