Ah! My Goddess: Of Heaven and Hell

Prologue
After seeing Oh my goddess! I realized that it was one of the few anime out
there
that was still worthy of my attention. And through reading various fanfictions
on this
wonderful anime, I realized that, though hard work, it would be a great
experience to
write a fanfiction of my own.
As many OMG fans would probably notice, chapters 1, 3, 5, 6, and 8 are from
the original OVA series, I have also added new chapters between 1 and 5, mainly
to show
what the sisters did prior to arriving on Earth.
To those who do not know, this story is based in Japan, with most characters
being Japanese, thus to them it is strange to see Gajins(a derogatory term for
non-
Japanese) like Belldandy to be living there.
Lastly, I would like to thank the great guys out there who helped me to
construct
this monster project. I would like to thank Michael Lee Yohe for allowing me to
use the
characters he created(characters like Aksan, Mandala, etc.), I also thank Brett
Handy for
allowing me to use his character(the god of destiny),and Ed Sharpe for allowing
me to use
the character Kenji, although I have designed various characters for this
fanfiction, it just
seems to add more spice to incorporate other(r)s characters into the story.

All characters in these stories are created by Kosuke Fujishima with the
following
exceptions: The characters Mr. And Mrs. Morisato, Aksan, Muse, and Mandala were
created by Michael Lee Yohe. Brett Handy was created by the man himself, Brett
Handy.
The character Kenji was created by Ed Sharpe. And Jeros, Ken, Kalin, Kary,
Seris,
Nifelheim, Janus, Kain, and Darkbane were created by Michael Pao.

CHAPTER 1 : Wrong Number!
As night fell upon the campus of the Nekomi Institute of Technology,
lights are
being turned off as students leave the campus. However, many lights still
remain on,
such as the dorms.
The floor in the men's dorm are littered with auto parts, books and
magazines,
clothes, and other miscellaneous things. No one was inside except for a young
man,
he is Keiichi Morisato, about 19 years old, he stands at 5'7" and have black
hair which
seems to go in all directions, he has brown eyes and wears a plain white T-shirt
and
blue jeans. As Keiichi began dozing off, the phone rang.
Startled awake, Keiichi picks up the receiver, "Hello, Nekomi Tech, men's
dorm,"
he answers wearily, "oh, you want to speak to Tamiya? Sorry, but he isn't here
right
now," he then picks up a pen and began writing on a nearby notepad, "you're his
boss at
work, right? I'll tell him you called, sure, bye." As he hung up, Keiichi
began saying,
"This bites! Why don't they just get an answer machine instead of ditching me
here?"
He was about to continue to complain when his stomach began growling.
"Great, and nothing in the refrigerator either, so..." Keiichi began
searching
through a shelf and pulled out a stack of cards, "...guess I'll order take-out!"
He
took a look at a card and began dialing on the phone...
"Furinkin's sushi house, may I help you?"
"Er..." Stuttered Keiichi, "I'd like to order take-out..."
"We're sorry sir, we don't make deliveries at this hour..."
"Dang!" Muttered Keiichi as he hung up, "guess I'll try Shinoru's
place..."
and began dialing again...
"We're sorry, we are not open at this time..." Came the unmistakable reply
of an answer machine.
"Aarrgghh!" Keiichi was in a rage now, and began dialing with barely a
glance
of the next card...
"Hello, you have reached the Helper Goddess Office hotline," came the
reply
in a warm, unmistakably feminine voice, "I will be there shortly to grant your
access
request..."
"Whoa, hold up!" Keiichi's eyes went wide, "I dialed a wrong number!
Hello?
Hello? Anyone...?" Keiichi was so taken off by the call, that he didn't even
notice the
mirror on the wall behind him began to ripple like water...
"Hello there!"
Turning around, Keiichi stares right into a young woman's face who's body
has come halfway out of the rippling mirror!
"Aagghh!" Screams Keiichi, jumping backwards into a table and overturning
it, causing things to crashing everywhere and a small bump on his head,
"wha...what
in the world...?"
"Please calm down, Mr. Keiichi Morisato," replied the young woman, as
Keiichi
became even more puzzled, he held his breath in awe as she pulled herself from
the
mirror and stepped into the room.
Standing in front of Keiichi was a young woman about the same age as him,
though floating about a foot off the ground, she was clearly a little taller
than him, she has
long, flowing light brown/gold hair which she wears in a strange hairband, and
sparkling
blue eyes, she has a mark on her forehead which resembles a long diamond, and
wears a
white dress covered by a blue cloak with gold linings, she also wears a bit of
jewelry that
seems to highlight her dress.
She smiles warmly at Keiichi, "Forgive me for not introducing myself, my
name
is Belldandy, and I am a goddess."
"A goddess?!" Replied a confused Keiichi.
"Yes, goddesses such as myself are sent out to help people in distress,
such as
you, for instance..."
"But... I was just trying to order take-out, and..."
Belldandy continues to smile warmly and comes next to Keiichi, making him
blush, "Is 'take-out' what you wish for? I could grant you not only that, but
any other
wish as well, but I must warn you that you may only get one wish."
"A wish?!" Keiichi was bewildered, "For ANYTHING?" At this, Keiichi starts
seeing himself surrounded by gorgeous women, having billions of dollars, driving
a
formula racecar...
And suddenly he stopped, 'Right... here's this goddess who can grant me
any one
wish...' Keiichi began thinking to himself, '...I know, this is another sick
joke by Tamiya
and his buddies, they probably set up a hole behind the mirror, and sent her
because they
know I'm a loser with women...'
"Why do you say that you have bad luck with women?" Asked Belldandy,
looking
at Keiichi curiously.
Surprised that she could read his mind, Keiichi asks her to stand up with
him.
Though not floating anymore, Belldandy still stands a good two to three
inches
taller than Keiichi. "See! I'm too short!" replied Keiichi.
"Is being a little short unattractive to women?" asks Belldandy, "I would
not
believe so."
As they both sit back down, Keiichi thinks to himself, "Is she for real?
If she
is, then I'm glad..."
"I know!" Exclaims Keiichi suddenly, "I wish..."
Belldandy clutches her hands and smiles, "Oh! Have you decided on your
wish?"
"I wish that a goddess like you..." Keiichi points at her suddenly, "...
to be with
me forever!"
Obviously taken by surprise, Belldandy looks quite puzzled, and seeing
this,
Keiichi says, "Um, that might have been a little too far, maybe I should make
another
wi..."
Keiichi is cut off as he stares at Belldandy, at first the mark on her
forehead
glowed, then burst into a beam of light which punches a hole in the ceiling, all
while
every loose object in the room began flying around her as she begins to float
off the
ground, the beam of light shoots straight into the sky and disappears, and as
she lands on
the ground, the glow disappeared from her forehead mark.
"Your wish is processed and has been granted!" Belldandy smiles at Keiichi
warmly.
"SAY WHAT???"
"So together, you and I..."
"Together you say, but this is the men's dorm! There's no women allowed
in
this dorm!" Keiichi looks both shocked and confused, "so if they catch the two
of us in
here, I'll be kicked out, so, um... I'll need you to leave for a while...sorry."
"That's all right Keiichi," replies Belldandy, still remaining cheerful,
"the
Ultimate Force system will protect us..."
"Ultimate Force?"
"Yes, it is a system designed to protect the contracts between people such
as you
and I, so in our case, it will protect us from ever being separated."
"Then that means..."
Suddenly the dorm's door opens, and enters a group of men. The apparent
leader
of the group is a large man, at about 6'4", he has black hair shaped into a
military style
flattop and black eyes, he is much more muscular in appearance than the skinny
Keiichi,
the man wears a white tank-top with black jeans, and a black jacket with the
name tag
'Tamiya' on it.
"Yo Morisato!" bellows Tamiya, "You been taking messages like I asked
for?"
The whole group suddenly falls into silence and looks in surprise at
Keiichi and
Belldandy sitting in the room.
"Wait! I...I can explain!" Keiichi begins to plead.
"Morisato, you should know the rules by now..." Tamiya gives a mad, but
disappointed look at Keiichi, "what do we do when someone breaks the rules?"
Tamiya
asks as he snaps his fingers.
"KICK 'EM OUT!!!" hollers the group of men as they charged Keiichi and
Belldandy, many of the men gathered Keiichi's belongings into bags and boxes,
while
three other men carried Keiichi, who in turn, was carrying Belldandy in his
arms. As the
group reached the front of the school, they set the two down on the pavement and
threw
Keiichi's belongings next to him. "Give us an address later and we'll mail your
crap to
you!" says Tamiya as he and his group stormed off.
Completely shocked by the situation, Keiichi is almost ready to cry, "No
way...
this can't be happening..." he says to himself.
Belldandy looks at Keiichi worriedly, "Am I a bother to you?" she asks
him,
obviously worried.
Keiichi looks at her for a moment and smiles, "No, I'll be fine as long as
I have a
pretty girl like you with me!"
At this Belldandy gave him a warm smile, but suddenly Keiichi was serious
again,
"But we've gotta look for a place now, sitting here won't do us any good."
Belldandy
nods in agreement as they stood up and walked to his motorcycle.
Keiichi's motorcycle looks just like nearly any common motorcycle, except
for
Keiichi's addition of a sidecar, its design is to give complete balance to the
whole vehicle
and give it more control. As Keiichi puts on his jacket and gloves, he gives an
once-over
look of Belldandy, "Say, can you do something about those clothes?" he asks her,
"I
mean... aren't they a bit flashy?"
At Keiichi's remark, Belldandy looks at herself, "Do you think so? Very
well
then..." she clutches her hands together in a prayer like look and closes her
eyes, suddenly
she became engulfed in a soft, blue glow.
Keiichi falls back in terror as he watched, and after a few seconds, the
glow
disappeared, revealing Belldandy in a soft pink colored dress, with matching
heels and a
beret-like hat, she also wore a yellow scarf around her neck and much of the
same
jewelry.
"How's this?" asked Belldandy.
Still shocked, Keiichi replies, "Er... ya, that'll work." He decided not
to pursue the
matter as to how she accomplished that feat.
Soon they were on the road, but after many unsuccessful attempts, they
decided to
take a break at the park, where Keiichi bought two cans of hot coffee from a
nearby
vending machine.
"Thank you." Said Belldandy, holding and studying the can.
"So you're serious about staying with me?" asks Keiichi.
"Yes Keiichi," answers Belldandy, "for we are now under contract."
"But..." Keiichi looks at her, "...what if the contract was somehow
broken?"
"I'm not sure," Belldandy replied, "but as long as you need me near you,
everything should be fine."
"That's good," Keiichi began to feel relieved, "but what'll we do? We
still need to
find a place to live!"
"Head towards west..." replied Belldandy.
"Huh? Is there something to the west?" Keiichi looks at her questioningly.
Belldandy looks to the sky and closes her eyes, "There you will find what
you
search for..." she then smiles and turns to Keiichi, "so don't despair."
"If you say so..." says Keiichi as they both stood up.
Thus, they began to head toward the western section of the city.
Suddenly, as they
were turning a small and sharp corner on a cliff, a car appears in front them
going in the
opposite direction!
A head on collision seems inevitable as Keiichi and the car's driver began
screaming, Just then Belldandy crosses her forearms as her mark on her forehead
began to
glow. Suddenly, the whole motorcycle was tipped to one side, being dangerously
close to
tipping as the car passed safely. Keiichi had to throw his whole weight to
Belldandy's
side to put the motorcycle to the ground again and brought the bike to a
screeching halt.
"Good god! That was close!" Keiichi exclaimed and looked to Belldandy,
"wha...?"
Belldandy, sitting in the sidecar, was panting as though she had ran a
marathon,
looks at Keiichi wearily, "Sorry...didn't use...power...sooner..."
"You all right? You look exhausted..." asked Keiichi, becoming quite
concerned.
"If you keep going for about a mile, there should be a temple, we
must..." and
with that, she closed her eyes.
"Wait!" shouted Keiichi, but realized that she fell asleep, and began
thinking to
himself, "what temple...?" suddenly, an image swept into his mind. "Oh, that
temple..."
and started off again.
As he was near the temple, a heavy rain began pouring down on them, just
as he
reached the temple gates, he realized that they were both soaked completely. He
hoisted
Belldandy, who was still sleeping deeply, and ran into the temple. Once he
found a room
with walls and windows still intact, he set her down on the floor gently and
looked at her.
"Oh man! She's going to catch cold at this rate!" he then looked at her face and
was
stunned by her beauty... her long golden hair, her full lips...
Keiichi had to pry his eyes from her, "Have to get these clothes dry
fast!" he said
to himself as he began digging through his bag: a walkman, pencils, a video
cassette...
"there's nothing but junk in here!" he was about to give up hope when... "all
right!"
exclaims Keiichi as he pulled out a hairdryer.
"Gotta have an outlet around here somewhere..." Keiichi ran all around the
room
and suddenly stopped himself, "this place is too old, there's no outlets in a
place like
this..." he rummages through his bag and pulls out his trenchcoat, which he
covers
Belldandy with and sat down next to her, he kept watch until he too, passed out
from
sheer exhaustion.
At the crack of dawn, Belldandy opens her eyes and stares into an old,
beaten
ceiling. As she got up, she spots Keiichi laying on the ground in a fetal
position.
"Keiichi!" Belldandy was surprised, and immediately sensed something is wrong,
she put
her hand on Keiichi's forehead and pulled it back in shock, "Oh no! You have a
fever!" at
this she began to cry, "I'm so sorry... because of me..." she closes her eyes
and reaches
out again, and an glowing gold orb formed in her palm, as she put her hand on
his
forehead, the room was covered in the same glow, and immediately Keiichi's
forehead
cooled down. "Thank god!" said Belldandy, weeping tears of joy, she then stood
up and
walked out of the room.
The weather has cleared up over night and the sun shined brightly over the
worn
temple, as Belldandy looks around, she notices that walls have collapsed ,
screen doors
and windows broken, and roof tiles either chipped or shattered. She looks to
the sky and,
clasped her hands together, "If the spirit of this place is still here, then you
may return to
your original self..." she began chanting, as she brings her arms out, an energy
orb formed
between her hands, "... though others may have forgotten, you and I must never
forget..."
and she raises her arms skyward, letting the orb slowly rise into the sky, "...
return to your
once glorious form, for your master has returned!" at this, the orb explodes,
showering
the whole temple in its light.
Belldandy's spell begins to take effect immediately as walls began to
return to its
original form, screen doors and windows replacing itself, and roof tiles begin
to reform.
At last, when the light disappeared, the temple stood, looking as if it was just
built
yesterday. Belldandy examines one of the walls and smiles, "You remembered
after
all..."
As warm sunlight begins to shine through one of the windows on Keiichi's
face,
he slowly awakens, he stares at a ceiling which he didn't recognize and sat
upright,
"What in the world...?" he pulled the trenchcoat off him and went out the screen
door.
"Was the temple ever this nice looking?" Keiichi ponders, as he turned the
corner
he saw Belldandy.
She was sitting on a large rock in front of a great tree and several
bushes, with
several small birds around her, there are some that landed on her shoulder and
lap, and as
she looked up and reached out, another bird lands on her palm, she has a heart-
warming
smile and sparkling eyes as she touched the birds, Keiichi blushed when he saw
her, and
blushed even harder when she sees him.
"Good Morning! Did you rest well?" asks Belldandy, still smiling.
Barely able to find his voice, Keiichi answers, "Er... yes," he then looks
around,
"wow! You did all this with your powers?"
"Yes, I've also arranged it so that we can live here form now on."
"Your powers are truly amazing Belldandy!" exclaims Keiichi, "but if we're
going to live here, we have to go buy some essential things." Belldandy nods in
agreement.
Hours later, the two return from the market, setting down various boxes,
Keiichi
then pulls out a receipt and looks at the bottom line: Total - $894.65. "Oh
man, its
gonna be at least a month before I get money from my parents, what'll I do?"
"Don't worry Keiichi, everything will be fine." Said Belldandy, now in a
yellow
shirt and blue overalls.
"Huh?"
"I feel good fortune surrounding you," said Belldandy, smiling at Keiichi,
"so
please cheer up."
"Well, if a goddess like you says so, then I've got no worries!" Keiichi
laughs, but
suddenly stops and thinks to himself, 'if it's going to be just Belldandy and I
living here,
then that means...' he pictures Belldandy slowly undressing, and pulling her
lips toward
his... "NO!" he stops himself, "she's a goddess for god's sake! What would
happen to me
if I did something like that?"
"Keiichi, I'll go make some tea for you." Said Belldandy as she stood up
and
walked toward the kitchen.
"Huh? Oh, I'll give you a hand!" Keiichi started after her, but tripped on
a soft-
drink can on the ground.
"Whooa!" Belldandy turned around , while Keiichi, who was unable to stop,
plowed into Belldandy and knocking both of them to the ground. As they sat up,
only a
foot across from each other's face, they stared at each other, finally Keiichi
musters up
some courage, "Um, Belldandy?"
"Yes?" as she replied she thrust her face forward, so only half a foot
remained
between them, never taking their eyes off each other.
Keiichi swallowed hard as he began moving forward, "I..."
The screen door opening behind Keiichi suddenly made him jump back.
"Aagghh!
Who...?" he said and looked back and froze in terror, "Megumi!"
"Oops, bad timing!"
Standing in the door way was a young woman about 5'5", she has dark brown
hair
that's cut short and brown eyes, she wears a blue sweater and blue jeans, she
also wears a
large yellow coat, and sports small, black boots. She smiles at Keiichi.
"Wow, Keiichi with a woman? That's pretty rad," Megumi slaps Keiichi on
the
shoulder, "and to top it off, she's a foreigner!" she slaps Keiichi again, "way
to go, big
guy!"
"What in the world are you doing here?" asks Keiichi, puzzled by her
arrival.
"Well, when I went to your old dorm, your buddies said that you moved out,
and
said to look for you around this area," Megumi smiles, "and that's when I saw
your bike
outside."
"Why me...?" Keiichi mumbles to himself.
"Oh my, who's our guest Keiichi?" asks Belldandy.
"My little sister, Megumi..." replied Keiichi.
"Hi there! I'm Keiichi's sister, Megumi Morisato, nice to meet you!" said
Megumi, offering to shake hands.
"My name's Belldandy, nice to meet you." Replied Belldandy, as they shook
hands.
"You still haven't answered me yet..." said Keiichi, looking at Megumi.
"Well, I was thinking about moving to our uncle's place, but this place is
much
roomier, in any case, it'll give me time to find an apartment around here..."
"Why, may I ask?" Keiichi was obviously annoyed.
"College, nitwit!" replied Megumi, "I'm beginning in April!"
"College? You're that old already?"
"C'mon! We're only a year apart!"
'This is not good!' Keiichi thought to himself, 'I can't refuse her in
front of
Belldandy... and if I really screw up, she'll find out that Belldandy is
actually a goddess!'
"Well, I guess you can stay for the time being... right Keiichi?"
Belldandy looks at
him with the same warm smile. Seeing her face, Keiichi could only nod in
agreement.
"Wow! You're so cool! It's as if you're a goddess or something to be able
to talk
my brother into it!" Keiichi's heart stopped for a second after hearing Megumi's
remark.
"Why, I am a godde..." began Belldandy just as Keiichi covered her mouth
with
his hand, throwing her off guard.
"Hahaha... well, guess you can bunk at the room down the hallway."
Keiichi
laughed and managed to cover up Belldandy's exclamation.
"Hmmm... guess you guys get along well, eh?" Megumi began picking up her
belongings and suddenly hands Keiichi a small envelope. "Dad gave me this for
expanses, you can have it!"
Keiichi stares in awe as he pulls eight hundred dollars from the envelope,
"Thank
god! We'll be able to survive for a while!" Belldandy smiles at Keiichi's
delight, but they
all froze at a voice coming from the temple gates...
"Yo! You in there Morisato?"
"Oh no..." Keiichi slowly walked to the temple entrance and met Tamiya and
the
rest of his crew.
Tamiya was smiling when he saw the two women following behind Keiichi.
Furious, he grabbed Keiichi by the shirt collar and hoisted him to his own eye
level.
"What the heck? Who's this girl...?"
"No... wait! I can explain!" Keiichi was surprised by Tamiya's reaction.
"Why you little...!" Tamiya threw Keiichi across his shoulders and put him
in a
painful hold which seemed to be twisting his back, "... you're living with
another girl
when you got such a cute one already?!"
"No... she's my sister, honest!" Keiichi managed to get out the sentence
through
the painful hold.
"Eh?" Confused, Tamiya let Keiichi drop to the ground and stared at
Megumi.
"Your sister?"
"Oh! You must be Keiichi's friends in the school motor club!" Megumi
exclaimed, "I'm Keiichi's sister Megumi, I'll be attending Nekomi Tech in fall!"
"Why... when you said 'college', you meant NIT?!" Keiichi exclaimed as he
got
up slowly, with his back still aching.
"All right then!" said Otaki, standing at about the same height as Tamiya,
his hair
is blond and spikey, and he wears jewelry which clearly shows his devotion to
motor
vehicles: spark plug earrings, metal nuts strewn into a necklace, etc. He wears
a white T-
shirt which is covered by a black leather jacket and black jeans. His eyes are
covered by
large, black shades and he holds two large sake bottles in his hands. "Let's
celebrate
Keiichi's moving in and Megumi beginning school with us!" and with that, the
crowd
cheers.
Keiichi is ready to cry as people began crowding into the temple, but
keeps a
straight face as he sees Belldandy's friendly face.
An couple hours later, Keiichi manages to sneak out of the crowded house
and sits
on the patio outside. He was startled as Belldandy appears beside him.
"Do you mind if I join you?" Belldandy asks, smiling friendly at Keiichi.
Keiichi smiles and motions her to sit next to him, as Belldandy looks at
the stars
in the sky, Keiichi looks at her, and summoning what little courage he had, he
slowly put
his arm around her shoulder.
At first Belldandy was surprised, but she smiled and rested her head on
Keiichi's
shoulder, and together they stared at the bright stars in the gentle, calm night
sky...
CHAPTER 2 : Heavenly Help
As another day dawns upon Earth, a goddess watches from afar on one of millions
of television monitors on Keiichi and Belldandy's life at the temple, the room
looks like a
laboratory with chemistry sets and computers everywhere, the ground resembles
clouds
which seem to sink like a sponge when people walk on it, and tree branches seem
to
branch out in all directions from under the room.
"What a loser... he can't even get anywhere like that!" exclaimed the goddess,
she
appears in her mid-20's, she stands close to six foot tall , and has long,
flowing silver
white hair and emerald green eyes. She has tanned skin and bears a small,
upside-down
blue triangle on her forehead and cheeks, and wears dark blue and red robes with
tiger-
striped collars, the robes are similar to Belldandy's, but clearly was designed
to show off
her legs and cleavage.
"Maybe you should go and help the poor mortal out, eh Urd?"
The goddess turns to look at the man which seemed to have appeared out of
nowhere. He appears about the same age as her, and about as tall, he has his
long blue
hair tied back into a tail, and his crystal blue eyes seem to pierce through any
secret. He
bears a small blue diamond on his forehead and cheeks, and wears black robes
with white
linings which covers up his well toned muscles and giving him a deep, mysterious
look.
"What's it to you Aksan?" asked Urd, raising a questioning eyebrow.
"Well... it is most disturbing that this mortal can't seem to put the moves on
your
sister." Aksan smiles, "and as the god of night and passion, it is important to
me that
these two can share their love to one another openly."
"So why don't you take care of it?" Urd replies angrily, "I've got my hands full
maintaining the Yggdrasil system as it is!"
Suddenly rays of sunlight began gathering at a spot in the room and another man
stepped out of the bright rays. The man looked identical to Aksan in every way
except
for his hair, though tied back in the same fashion, was golden brown, and his
robes,
though very similar as well, was white with black linings, the robes reflected
the sunlight
around him and highlighted his face, giving him a bold, godlike look.
"Because Urd," the man began, with the same accent as Aksan, "We too, carry
heavy burdens as guardians of night and day as well as assisting The Almighty."
"I know that Kalin!" Urd looked at the gods, with a hint of despair on her face,
"but how can I go to the surface world and leave Yggdrasil unattended?"
"Are you not related to one who also controls great power in the Yggdrasil
system?" Kalin asks Urd, "one who is young, and yet surpasses us all in
intellect?"
"Skuld!" exclaims Urd suddenly at Kalin's suggestion, "of course! She can
temporarily run the system while I'm gone!" Urd's face brightened up at the
thought.
"Very well," said Kalin, "I shall go and search for your sister and request her
to
take up command of the Yggdrasil system."
"And I guess I'll run the system until Kalin brings Skuld here." Added Aksan.
Urd jumps up cheerfully and hugs the two gods, "Thanks for the help boys!" and
gave both a light kiss on the cheek before she teleported through one of the
television
screens.
Aksan smiles at Urd's gesture, "What a goddess!" and turns to Kalin, "what do
you think of her, brother?"
Kalin smiles as rays of sunlight began gathering around him once more, "No
thanks brother, she's a night person." And with that, he steps into the rays and
disappears
from the room.
Urd has been gathering things she would need on Earth, she threw chemistry sets,
potions, spices, and other miscellaneous objects into a bag. And after she was
ready, she
chanted a series of magical phrases which shrunk her bag into pocket-size, and
stuck it
into her belt. A few minutes later, she walks out of a portal and looks back at
the great
tree she came from. The tree was gigantic as it's roots stretched for miles and
it's trunk
would take years for anyone to completely walk around, and it's top disappeared
into the
clouds, which was a couple good hundred miles above ground. Urd smiles at the
sign
which was posted by her: Yggdrasil-world maintenance system.
"I'm going to miss this place..." Urd said to herself as she slowly walked away
from the tree...
"Hold it!" Urd suddenly stopped in her tracks, seconds later a black, a swirling
portal opened in front of her and Aksan jumped out from it.
"Now what?" Urd was clearly annoyed, "I thought you brothers already took care
of things back there!"
"We have," exclaimed Aksan, "but one thing still troubles me... don't you need
to
use television sets as your medium of travel?"
Urd's heart suddenly sank at the thought of her restriction. All gods and
goddesses
become attuned to a specific object as their medium of travel, and Urd was born
with the
ability to travel through television sets. "Oh no!" Urd cried out, "Then how in
the world
am I supposed to reach that idiotic mortal? I can't just barge into the temple
when
Belldandy's there!"
"Heh, looks like you owe me for another one." Aksan smiled at Urd as he pulled a
camcorder from his robe and points the lenses towards her.
Urd smiles and winks at Aksan, "How's about dinner after I teach this mortal
some
lessons?"
"Sounds great!" Aksan replied, "I'll personally deliver the tape to the mortal's
home." And with that, he pushed the record button...
As night-time fell upon the temple, Keiichi is found sitting at the dining
table,
reading another do-it-yourself maintenance book on motorcycles, and Belldandy is
in the
kitchen cooking up another wonderful meal. The trees in the temple grounds move
slightly under the gentle night breeze, which is just loud enough that no one
notices the
dark-robed figure which emerged from the tree's shadow.
Aksan could only be seen if one was extremely alert, since all that could be
seen
of him was his face and the white lining on his robe. He steps out into the
open and
walks to the temple's mailbox, before he drops the package in, he looks at the
temple and
smiles, "I really envy that mortal..." Aksan smiles again and drops the package
in, and
without noise, he steps into the shadows and was gone...
CHAPTER 3: Sexy Sister
As summer begins to come to a close, Keiichi sat at the dining table, going over
a
series of diagrams for his motorcycle under the blazing sun in the living room,
"Keiichi!"
came Belldandy's sweet voice from the kitchen, "lunch will be ready in a
minute!"
Keiichi smiles at hearing her voice.
'It's nearly four months since Belldandy arrived,' thought Keiichi, 'maybe I
should...' his thought is cut off as the temple gates opened and a familiar
voice called
out...
"Hey guys! Mind if I come in?" asked Megumi as she reached the front screen
door, wearing a white T-shirt and a short, light blue skirt.
"Please be seated Megumi," Belldandy smiled and peeked out from the kitchen,
"lunch will be served in a minute."
"By the way, thanks for inviting me again for lunch!" Megumi called back,
Keiichi had an annoyed look when he looked up at Megumi.
"Who invited you anyway?" Keiichi replied with an annoyed tone, "you've been
coming here everyday now for the past three weeks!"
"Gimme a break bro!" replied Megumi, "I've been pitching in for the food too!"
she then pulls out a package from her backpack and hands it to Keiichi, "Here,
this came
for you in the mail."
Keiichi took the small package and examined it, it clearly stated his name and
the
temple's address, but he noticed something odd, "That's odd... there's no return
address..."
"Say bro..."
Keiichi looked up from the package and saw Megumi smiling at him, "...So, did
you go anywhere fun this summer?" she asked, "like the beach?"
Keiichi looked depressed and replied, "Naw...you know I don't have any money!"
Megumi smiled, "Oh! I forgot you couldn't swim..."
Keiichi was almost furious, "I could too!" then his voice dropped to almost a
whisper, "about five feet..."
Keiichi muttered curses at Megumi but stopped as Belldandy walked in, wearing a
long red and yellow dress and carrying a large, steaming pot in her hands,
Belldandy
smiles at both of them, "Lunch is served!"
"Oh wow! That was great!" Megumi gasped as she leaned back, "thanks again
Bell!"
"Yeah, great cooking Belldandy!" added Keiichi.
"I'm glad you both liked it!" Belldandy smiled and poured juice and offered it
to
them both, she then looked at Megumi and asked, "so, did you enjoy your summer
Megumi?"
"Of course! I went to the beach twice!" Megumi smiled and secretly winked at
Keiichi.
Belldandy smiled at Megumi's reply, "Wow... the beach, I wish I could see it
some time...", unaware that Keiichi was staring at her.
"You've never gone to the beach and see the ocean?" Megumi asked Belldandy
while helping with the dishes, as she worked the old hand-crank water well to
pump out
the water.
Belldandy smiled friendly at Megumi, "No, but I would love to go sometime
when I get the chance..." she replied as she finished the last of the dishes and
took out a
small notepad.
Meanwhile, Keiichi was sitting at the front patio, pondering about Belldandy's
reply about the beach. 'Maybe I can take her to the beach...' he smiled as he
thought of
images of Belldandy in a swimming suit as they both ran around the beach,
splashed
water onto each other, holding hands... 'and I'll have a memorable summer!, at
least... a
kiss!' Keiichi thought for a moment, then raises his clenched fists, "right!
I'll do it!" he
exclaims.
"Do what?" asked Megumi, as she suddenly appeared at the doorway, confused at
his brother's outburst.
"Agh! Umm..." completely taken by surprise, Keiichi tried to think of an excuse,
but came up with nothing. "Nothing..." he replied, smiling weakly.
Megumi looked at Keiichi questioningly for a second and headed for the front
door, a moment later Belldandy came to the doorway, carrying a small notepad and
an
umbrella. "Keiichi? I'm going shopping, is there anything you need?"
"Oh! Um, no... you go on ahead." Keiichi replied, and Belldandy smiled and
walked out the front door.
A few minutes later, Keiichi was in his bedroom, cutting open his package.
"Don't tell me this thing is going to explode if I open it..." he said to
himself mockingly,
and as he opened the package, he was shocked at the contents inside: a video
cassette
marked "Sexy Sister."
"Oh wow! Must be some kinda porno!" exclaimed Keiichi, "only one of the motor
club buddies would've sent this..." and Keiichi looked around apprehensively,
"while
Belldandy's not around..." he whispered to himself as he inserted the tape into
the VCR
and turned on the TV...
Keiichi gaped in awe as the video played, first the seductive title screen which
showed the title in soft pink letters next to a lipstick mark, then the images
of a women's
legs covered in a silk blanket, as the blanket was slowly pulled up, revealing
shapely
upper thighs, a women's voice called out seductively, "...Just a little bit,
OK?" and the
figure in the video sat up, revealing a shapely body covered scantly by a robe,
she puts her
arms around her and extends her foot towards the screen, while Keiichi moved
forward,
seemingly possessed by the video, he jumped back suddenly as the women's foot
stuck
out of the TV and caressed his face seductively, and suddenly pulled back and
kicked him
across the room!
"What the heck?!" a bewildered Keiichi sat back up, across the room, watching in
horror as the room filled with electricity as the women began coming out of the
TV.
The woman pulled herself through the TV feet first, and smiled seductively as
she
pulled her cape from the screen, which stopped flashing shortly. She stood up
and smiled
at Keiichi, standing nearly six foot tall, she had long, flowing silver white
hair and
emerald green eyes. She has tanned skin and bears a small upside-down blue
triangle on
her forehead and cheeks, and wears dark blue and red robes with tiger-striped
collars, her
robes are similar to Belldandy's, but was designed to show off her legs and
cleavage.
"Hi there!" the woman smiled seductively at Keiichi, "nice to meet you!" and she
suddenly rushed to the side of the room Keiichi was still sitting and sat in
front of him,
making Keiichi even more bewildered. "So... you finally feel ready eh?" the
woman
asked, raising Keiichi's chin with her hand.
"Umm... excuse me...?" asked Keiichi, almost a whisper.
"Hmm?" the woman replied, still smiling.
"Who in the world are you?" Keiichi asked, still shocked at her arrival.
"I'm the cupid of love..." she replied, "...well? so when are you planning to
make
your move on her?" she asked, still smiling at Keiichi.
"Make my move?!" Keiichi stared at her in awe, "I haven't thought about that
yet!" he replied.
"Oh dear..." the woman slapped Keiichi's cheek mockingly, "that's no way to go
about it!" and she started leaning towards him, making Keiichi retreat towards
the wall.
"Women..." she began, "...need something stimulating, when you two are alone on
the
beach..." she grabbed Keiichi's hand, and before he realises what was going on,
she
continued, "you grab her like this!" and shoved his hand on her breast, she
moaned in
ecstasy as Keiichi dropped his jaw in shock and tried to pry his hand from hers.
"Then..."
she continued, and leaned her face by his ear and whispered, "be a man will
'ya?" and
smiled. "Then at night, you hold her like this!" and she crushed Keiichi in a
bone-
breaking hug, knocking the breath out of him. "And then, go all the way!"
"Whoa! Wait a minute!" Keiichi had it, he broke free of her powerful hug, and
stumbled across the room away from the strange woman.
"Why are you running away?" asked the woman angrily, and stood up looking at
Keiichi across the room. "This is the reason why you two are not getting
anywhere!" then
she pointed at Keiichi and continued, "listen, Belldandy is waiting for you,
with her
whole body!"
At this Keiichi's eyes bugged out. "Belldandy, waiting for me?" he remained
mesmerised for a moment and suddenly yelled back at the woman, "Hey! How the
heck
do you know so much about us?"
"I know everything little man!" she replied and laughed, but she was suddenly
cut
off at the sound of the front screen door opening.
"I'm home!" came Belldandy's voice from the front of the house.
"Darn! She's home already..." thought the woman, she walked next to Keiichi
and patted his head, "anyways, go for it. I'll drop by to lend you a hand." And
she crossed
her arms as a portal began merging from the ground, as she sank slowly into the
portal,
she added, "oh, and make sure not to tell my sister about this or let her find
the tape, she
can get nasty when she's mad..."
Keiichi stared in awe at the woman's remark, and quickly asked, "Wait! Are you
Belldandy's...?"
"Older sister, Urd." Replied the voice as her body went through and the portal
closed off, leaving no trace of her presence.
"Older sister? That?!" asked a bewildered Keiichi, still staring at the spot
where
the portal was.
Two days later, Keiichi decided to take Belldandy to the beach, where they
checked-in to a local hotel, Keiichi sat on one of the beds, looking at
Belldandy, who was
standing on the outside patio, wearing a soft pink dress with white linings. She
took a
deep breath of the ocean air and smiled as she turned around to face Keiichi.
"Isn't this so
pretty Keiichi?" she asked, still carrying her always friendly smile.
Keiichi could only stare at her amazing beauty which is enhanced by her friendly
smile and was almost speechless, "Err...yes, very pretty." He replied in a
barely audible
whisper.
Keiichi then stood up and walked next to Belldandy, they both stared at the
crowded beach for a moment, "Say Keiichi, why don't we go to the beach?"
Belldandy
asked him.
Keiichi smiled at the thought, "Sure! Lets go!" he replied.
Moments later, Keiichi sat under a on a beach towel and under an umbrella that
he
had set up. He wore dark blue swimming trunks, and looked happy as he thought to
himself, 'This is going to be great! And best of all.. Belldandy's going to be
in a
swimsuit!"
Keiichi was surprised when two hands suddenly covered his eyes. "Guess who?"
asked the feminine voice in a seductive voice as he felt breasts push up against
his back.
'Oh god!' Keiichi was overjoyed, 'Belldandy is being so daring, I knew coming to
the beach was a great idea!' he took her hands off and turned around,
"Belldandy!" he
replied happily, and stared into Urd's grinning face instead.
Keiichi stared at her for a moment and suddenly jumped back, "Agh! What the
heck?!"
Urd smiled at him, she wore a barely-there tiger-striped bikini which showed so
much of her body, all the men passing by stared at her in awe for a moment
before
moving on, usually dragged away by jealous girlfriends. "Hi there!" she smiled
at Keiichi,
"I'm here to back you up, just like I said!"
Keiichi stared at her outfit for a second, "Are you really here for that?" he
asked
her.
"What is that supposed to mean?!" asked Urd, with an annoyed look on her face.
"Uh, sorry..." replied Keiichi, suddenly realising what he said.
"Well?" asked Urd, "how are things going along?"
"Um...well, for the time being, I guess we'll be holding hands." Keiichi replied
sheepishly.
"Argh!" Urd screamed, clenching her fist and looking mad. "That's too darn
childish! You'll never get anywhere like that!"
"Really?" asked Keiichi, "what should I do?"
Urd brought out a small glass bottle of brown liquid and hands it to Keiichi,
"Here, use this!"
"What in the world is it?"
Urd smiles, "Urd's very own 'suntan oil'," she then grins at Keiichi, "you rub
that
all over her and she will be all mellow-mellow!"
"Mellow-mellow?" asked Keiichi, a confused look on his face. He began thinking
of Belldandy, weakened from the oil, becoming an easy prey for his advances...
"That's right, good luck!" Urd got up and started leaving, "I'll be watching
you!"
"Wha..." Keiichi looked at the bottle in his hand and looked up, "Hey Urd!" but
it was no use, Urd had already left. "Now what do I do?" Keiichi asked himself.
"Keiichi!" came Belldandy's voice from far away.
Keiichi suddenly turned to the direction of her voice with a huge grin, "She's
here!"
On the other side of the beach, Belldandy was running towards Keiichi while
waving, she wore a one-piece pink and white swimsuit, while not as revealing as
Urd,
Belldandy still stunned men as she ran by them.
"Thanks for waiting!" Belldandy said as she came next to Keiichi.
"No sweat! I just got here myself!" Keiichi replied.
Belldandy blushed as she sat down with Keiichi, "Is this swimsuit all right?
I've
never wore one before..."
"Are you kidding?" exclaimed Keiichi, "You look great in it!"
"Thanks Keiichi!" smiled Belldandy.
"Whew! Boy it's hot today!" exclaimed Keiichi as he raised his hand to wipe off
the sweat, when he noticed he still had the bottle of suntan oil in his hand.
"Say, Belldandy?"
"Yes?"
"I have some suntan oil here, would you like me to put it on you?"
Belldandy smiled at Keiichi, "Sure! What should I do?"
Keiichi started blushing, "Um...first of all, why don't you lay face down?"
"Okay!" replied Belldandy as she turned around and lay facing down.
"Um... then I'll put this oil on you..." Keiichi gulped as he slowly unscrewed
the
bottle's cap, he sprayed some oil on his palms and began reaching for
Belldandy's back
when a hand suddenly tapped his back.
"Hey Morisato!" came a woman's voice from behind Keiichi.
"Aghhh!" Keiichi jumped in shock, with all the tension, he didn't expect anyone
to come up behind him. He slowly turned around to the face the person.
Standing in front of him was a young woman about the same age, she has long
brown hair and brown eyes, she wore a two-piece purple string bikini which
showed
off her shapely curves and sandals. She smiled at Keiichi.
Keiichi blinked in surprise, "Sayoko?" he asked.
"Well, fancy meeting you here..." Sayoko smiled as the rest of her group, all
men,
came up behind her. She then spots Belldandy as she slowly turned around.
"Oh my, who might this be?" Belldandy asked cheerfully as she spots Sayoko.
"Um... Belldandy, this is Sayoko Mishima. Sayoko, this is Belldandy, she..."
Keiichi stopped for a second before continuing, "...she is a foreign exchange
student
who's coming to NIT this year."
"Hello there!" Belldandy smiled at the group.
The men started saying complements about Belldandy's beauty as Sayoko eyed
her, 'Hmmm... she's not to be taken slightly...' Sayoko thought as she kept
smiling,
"Oh, nice to meet you!"
Several of the men by Sayoko began moving towards Belldandy, mesmerised by
her beauty, one such man, though wearing glasses, had a handsome face, he has
black
hair and brown eyes, his expression was that of intelligence and cunning, and he
wore
white swimming trunks and a light green beach shirt. He smiled as he approached
Belldandy.
"Hello there..." the man smiled, "we're going on a boat ride soon, would you
care to join us?"
"I..." Belldandy looked at both the man and Keiichi, not knowing what to say.
"Oh, come now, it'll be fun!" the man smiled as he took Belldandy's hand.
"Stop!" Keiichi yelled as he grabbed the man's arm, "other wise, the
Ultimate Force will..."
As if on cue, all three looked up into the calm, gentle sky. "Huh? Nothing..."
said Keiichi, he looked at Belldandy, who was also confused.
"Well, we're going to be at the docks for a while, so you know where to find
us!" Sayoko patted the man's back, "let's go Aoshima!"
Aoshima let go of Belldandy's hand and followed Sayoko, "Hey Belldandy, I
hope to see you there!" he waved as he walked off with the group.
Keiichi sat silently for a second after they left, then looked towards the sky,
"That's strange, what happened to the Ultimate Force?"
Belldandy also looked confused as she turned to Keiichi, "That's odd, there must
be a system malfunction... I'll check on it later."
"Well, we had a small interruption," Keiichi smiled at Belldandy, "shall we
continue where we were at?"
"Sure!"
"Now let's see... where did I left the bottle?" Keiichi looked around and stared
in
shock at the bottle, now emptied into the sand when he threw it in shock from
Sayoko's
arrival. "No way..." Keiichi had a disappointed look on his face.
Urd was watching not too far away, her face was a mixture of disappointment and
anger, "It almost worked too!" she muttered angrily to herself, "I'll have to go
with a
different plan then..."
An hour later, Keiichi and Belldandy are sitting in a inflatable raft, Keiichi
was
rowing and decided to spray water onto Belldandy.
Belldandy shrieked playfully, "That's cold Keiichi!" Belldandy smiled, "I'll get
you for that!" and she scooped up a handful of water and splashed it on Keiichi.
"Agh! It is cold!" Keiichi laughed along with Belldandy. 'Urd's plan B...'
Keiichi thought to himself, '...hop on a boat and get away from the shore! I
don't know
what she meant, but Belldandy seems happy, so...'
"By the way," Keiichi began, "did you find out what happened to the system?"
Belldandy smiled, "Well, I tried making contact, but my older sister Urd wasn't
there..."
Keiichi raised a questioning eyebrow, "Older sister?"
Belldandy nodded, "Yes, system maintenance is her job, so unless I contact her,
I
wouldn't know the exact details..."
As Keiichi gave her a confused look, Belldandy smiled, "Keiichi, can I row the
raft with you?"
Keiichi smiled, "Uh... sure!" as Belldandy stood up to walk over to him, the
raft
rocked slightly, "be careful Bell!" Keiichi warned.
Suddenly, wakes formed in the ocean, rocking the raft violently, Belldandy was
almost thrown in the ocean, but Keiichi jumped up and grabbed her arm, and both
fell
inside the raft.
Keiichi had a concerned look on his face, "Belldandy, are you okay?"
Still shaken, Belldandy looked up at Keiichi and smiled, "Yes, thank you
Keiichi!"
Keiichi smiled, "Thank goodness!" then his face registered shock, 'why! This...'
he thought to himself, as he suddenly realised Belldandy was lying on her back
and
across his lap, as he had his arms around her waist and hers on his chest,
'...this position
is...'
On the beach, Urd smiled to herself as she sat at a beach chair, as a small
energy
orb disappeared from her hands, she lifted a pair of small opera-glasses to her
eyes.
"Everything is according to plan..." Urd smiled, "...it's all up to Keiichi
now!"
Meanwhile, Keiichi decided to try something courageous, "Belldandy?" he asked,
holding her slightly closer.
"Keiichi?" Belldandy smiled at him.
Keiichi was about to bring her closer, when a small motor boat suddenly went
past
them, making a small wave which caused the raft to overturn and throwing both
Keiichi
and Belldandy into the sea.
A second later, Belldandy came to the surface of the water as the boat came to a
stop. "Belldandy! Are you all right?" Sayoko called out from the boat.
"Sayoko..." Belldandy looked surprised as they met eyes.
Suddenly Sayoko looked concerned, "Say, wasn't Keiichi with you?"
Belldandy's face suddenly registered shock, "Oh no! Keiichi!" she dove back into
the water, seeing Keiichi slowly sinking, she went after him quickly and brought
him
back
up to the surface.
Hours later, Belldandy sat at the edge of Keiichi's bed, she watched the
sleeping
young man with sad eyes, "I'm sorry Keiichi..." she thought back earlier, to the
time they
got Keiichi back up into Sayoko's boat, in the late afternoon...
A loud, ringing slap rang, Belldandy covered her cheek, now red, as Sayoko
pulled back her hand from the slap. "How dare you...bringing a person who can't
swim
so far from the shore! How can you call yourself his girl, when all you do is to
bring him
trouble?" Sayoko glared at Belldandy, "maybe Keiichi thinks you're just a bother
to
him!"
Realising her remark may be true, Belldandy began shedding tears...
Slowly, Belldandy's thought came back to their hotel room, now near sundown, as
she looked at Keiichi, her eyes began to water, 'I'm no good...' she thought to
herself,
'maybe I shouldn't be with Keiichi...being all cheerful with myself, what does
Keiichi
think of me...?' her thoughts are cut off as a hand suddenly touched hers.
Belldandy jumped as she looked at Keiichi, who now grasped her hands while
looking up at her face, "Belldandy, what's wrong?" he asked, a weak smile on his
face.
"Oh Keiichi! I'm so sorry, I didn't know you couldn't swim..." Belldandy looked
slightly relieved now that Keiichi was awake.
Keiichi smiled again, "Oh... that's right, I drowned didn't I?"
"I'm sorry Keiichi, this is my fault..." Belldandy's eyes began to water,
"...and if
I stay with you any longer..."
Keiichi suddenly looked concerned, "Belldandy?"
Belldandy suddenly stood up, "I'm sorry," she wiped her eyes and walked towards
the door, "I'll get you some water..."
Keiichi sat up in his bed, but Belldandy had already walked out of the room.
Just
outside, Belldandy thought to herself, 'I can't... I'm too scared to ask...'
Meanwhile, Keiichi sat at the edge of the bed, wearing a green T-shirt and blue
jeans, "Belldandy was crying..." he said to himself, "...was it because of me?"
"You got that right!"
Keiichi jumped and looked at the direction the voice came from, a small figure,
no
more than five inches in height, jumped from a coffee table, a large pillar of
smoke
formed
as the figure hit the ground, the smoke quickly cleared, and Urd emerged,
dressed in her
goddess uniform.
"M... Miss Urd!" exclaimed Keiichi.
"How can you make my little sister cry?" Urd asked with a mixed look of anger
and annoyance, "and above all, you goofed up all my plans!" she turned away from
Keiichi, a look of disgust on her face, "geez, why is she with such a shameful
man like
you anyways?"
Keiichi turned away from her in anger as well, "Hmph! Leave me alone already!"
Urd turned towards him, raising a questioning eyebrow, "Oh really? If Belldandy
gets disgusted with you and comes back to the heavens, don't come crawling back
to
me!"
"Wha...?" Keiichi suddenly looked alarmed, "the heavens?!"
Urd walked next to Keiichi, "Do you know why she is crying?" she asked, and
suddenly grabbed his shoulders and looked into his eyes, "it's because you don't
love
her enough!"
Keiichi looked stunned, and suddenly jumped up, "No! I... I love Belldandy!" he
replied angrily at Urd's remark.
Urd just smiled at him, "Then you'll have to show her..."
Keiichi suddenly realised Urd was right, and nodded in agreement.
Urd looked at Keiichi and smiled, "But it'll be bad if you goof up again, so
this
time I've saved a special spell, just for this occasion!"
Keiichi raised a questioning eyebrow, "A spell?"
Urd nodded as she handed him a small flask with a small portrait of her on it,
"Here, when Belldandy comes back, drink this," she smiled, "you too can become a
warrior of love!"
"A warrior of love?" Keiichi still looked confused.
"That's right!" Urd smiled as she went to the window, "good luck!" and jumped
out of the window.
Keiichi eyed the smell flask, "all right!" with a look of confidence, he broke
off
the top of the flask and downed the contents, his face suddenly turned purple as
he
dropped to the ground unconscious.
Urd sat atop the hotel's roof smiling, "Even Shakespeare is said to have used a
potion of love... whomever you see first when you wake, you will fall madly in
love
with!"
A knocking on the door slowly brought Keiichi back into consciousness, 'Sounds
like someone's at the door...' he thought to himself, 'I wonder if it's
Belldandy?'
Sayoko stood outside the door in a long white and purple dress, "Keiichi? are
you
in there?" she turned and leaned against the door, "I'm sorry about what
happened this
afternoon, I realised I was to blame too, say Keiichi, are you lis..."
She was cut off as the door suddenly opened, causing her to stumble back a few
steps and falling on her back, she looked up angrily at Keiichi, who had a far-
away look
in his eyes, "That was rude Keiichi!" Sayoko yelled at him, "why didn't you say
something?"
Keiichi slowly turned to Sayoko, 'Huh?' he thought, 'Sayoko?!'
Suddenly, his eyes became a light red, and visions of roses formed around
Sayoko's face, "Hey! Are you listening to me Keiichi!" Sayoko was still unaware
of his
condition and was still yelling at him.
"Beautiful!" Keiichi said, staring at Sayoko.
"Huh?" replied Sayoko, looking confused.
'What?!' Keiichi thought to himself as he knelt next to her, "The rose I'd
thought
I'd never found is here!" he said to Sayoko.
"Keiichi? what in the world...?" Sayoko's face turned from looking confused to
that of fear as Keiichi grabbed her hand as caressed it against his face.
"Ahhh... how soft!" exclaimed Keiichi.
Sayoko pried her hand away from him, "Keiichi! stop it!" she looked even more
shocked as Keiichi put his arms around her.
"Ahhh... what a lovely fragrance!" exclaimed Keiichi.
Sayoko pulled free and dropped Keiichi's face onto the floor, "Stop this
Keiichi!"
she exclaimed as she ran from the room.
'I want to stop myself!' thought Keiichi as he stood up.
Sayoko stood across the hallway to Keiichi's door, a panicked look on her face,
"What in the world's wrong with you Keiichi?!" she asked as Keiichi advanced
slowly.
"Like a roach being lured by a roach trap..." Keiichi muttered as he advanced
towards Sayoko.
Urd had shrunk herself to watch the show, she stood behind a flowerpot and next
to a rat that was gnawing on a cracker, she slapped her forehead as she saw
Keiichi and
Sayoko, "Oh man... this is hopeless!" she made a small hop and disappeared in a
cloud
of smoke.
Meanwhile, Keiichi was trying to kiss Sayoko, and Sayoko managed to push him
back a few feet, 'Help me Miss Urd! I can't let Belldandy see me like this!'
Sayoko was trying to keep Keiichi at bay, "Keiichi, stop this, you already have
Belldandy!" she exclaimed in shock.
Keiichi continued towards her, "Belldandy? You're wrong, I want you to be near
me..." he suddenly stopped as something crashed nearby.
Both Keiichi and Sayoko turned to face Belldandy, who dropped a water pitcher
and was staring back at the two.
CHAPTER 4: Life at Yggdrasil
Day begins to dawn upon a strange horizon, a sea of clouds extended beyond
one's sight, and building-sized tree branches seem to extend everywhere from
underneath the clouds, and small temples were built on the branches.
The door to one such temple opened, and a man walked out, yawning and
stretching, he wore a black shirt and matching boxer shorts, and his expression
was
one that seemed to have seriously lacked sleep.
"Man, I am definitely not a morning person..." Aksan muttered as he walked
from the branch and onto the clouds, which surprisingly held under his weight.
He
snapped his finger and started sinking through the clouds.
As he passed through the clouds, Aksan has changed into his regular god
uniform, and looked around the setting. He descended slowly upon a large
grassland
which had wild animals and people coexisting, and towns can be seen in the
distance,
but what really caught the people's attention was the tree.
The tree's roots are as large as subway tunnels extended everywhere, and the
trunk of the tree is so large it would take even a god at least a year to fly
around, and
it extended high and into the clouds. As Aksan landed on a road not too far from
one
of the roots, he looked at the gigantic tree. "Well, another day of work...
better grab
a bite before I start!" and with that, he snapped his finger, and a door
materialised on
the tree's root, with the sign "Yggdrasil lounge and cafö" on it, he walked
through the
door and was instantly transported elsewhere...
Soon, Aksan materialised into a large cafö with all sorts of gods and goddesses
sitting at various bars and tables gossiping with each other while eating
breakfast, Aksan
walked to a table in the middle of the cafö, soon a robot in a waiter's attire
came to his
table. "Greetings!" said the robot in an electric voice, "would you like a menu
or go
into our file directory?"
Aksan didn't even raise his head as he replied, "Computer, Aksan, god of night
and passion, passcode: night of passion."
The robot stood still for a second, "Identity found, your meal will be brought
to
you shortly." And the robot left to attend another table.
Aksan sat silently for a moment waving at several goddesses who passed by him,
all of them either gave him a hug or waved back warmly. After a moment Aksan
spoke,
"Yggdrasil, download a copy of today's current events on Earth for me."
A second later a large mug of coffee was delivered to him, and a small computer
display materialised and floated in front of him, displaying articles in a
strange language.
Aksan looked at the article half-heartily while sipping his coffee.
"Hey brother!" Screamed a voice from the entrance, almost making Aksan choke
on the coffee, he looked up and grimaced.
"Man, I seriously dislike morning people..." Aksan muttered as he saw Kalin
walking towards him, with two people following him.
As the trio sat at Aksan's table, Aksan eyed the two newcomers, one of them was
a man, with long, flowing black hair, he had on his forehead what looks like a
small blue
circle with triangles on it's top and bottom, and wore white robes with red
collars and
trimming, he also wore white leather gloves with red gems studded onto it's
back, his
bold god-like look is furthered by the thin black shades he wears. The other man
had his
golden blonde hair down to his shoulders, and had a similar symbol on his
forehead, but
was gold instead of blue, and wore a fancy white tuxedo suit and pants, topped
with a
red rose, his blue eyes seem to radiate hope, and he seems to smile constantly.
Aksan turned to the man with the shades, "Well Ken, what brings you and your
brother to Yggdrasil today? I thought you guys just finished maintenance last
week!"
Ken smiled, despite his loner appearance, he seemed friendly, "Well, I was
going to take a break today, but Jeros forced me to come today because he found
a
new game, and..."
Kalin raised a questioning eyebrow at his remark, and turned towards the young
god in the fancy get-up, "And you think the Lord will let you install it?" he
asked him.
Jeros just shrugged, "It's worth taking the chance, isn't it?"
All the other gods just shook their heads in disbelief at his remark, and a
waiter
robot came to their table, "Greetings guests," it said, "would you like a menu
or go into
our file directory?"
Kalin looked up and smiled, "Computer, Kalin, god of day and healing, passcode:
lifeline."
Jeros looked at the robot and replied, "Computer, Jeros, god of chance and
happiness, first class, second category, unlimited, passcode: raise the stakes."
Ken had summoned an article similar to Aksan's, and didn't look up, "Computer,
Ken, god of knowledge and technology, first class, second category, unlimited,
passcode:
with knowledge comes power."
The robot stood still for a second, "Identities found, your meals will be
brought to
you shortly." And it left for another table.
"Hey Aksan!" Ken smiled as he came across an article, "check out page four,
article number three!"
Aksan scrolled down on his monitor and came to the article, he was not really
into
the article, since it only showed a picture of Belldandy and Keiichi standing
outside the
temple, 'What's so special about this couple anyway?' he thought to himself, and
froze as
he saw Urd's picture in the article as well, he quickly began reading.
Aksan looked up at Ken a moment later, "She's forbidden to come back?!" he
asked his friend, who nodded silently, "that girl never learns, does she?" he
added.
"Nope, guess not," Ken replied as he continued reading, and came to a stop, "Eh?
A bug problem...?" he raised an eyebrow and continued reading, as the other gods
suddenly turned their attention towards him, "...in the West wing of the
Yggdrasil
network?!" he quickly made a motion with his hands and the monitor disappeared,
he
quickly stood up, "C'mon Jeros! We've got work to do!"
Jeros gave him an annoyed look, "Gimme a break bro! Our breakfast hasn't come
yet, can't we just..." he was cut off as Ken just grabbed his suit's collar and
dragged him
by force to the door.
"We'll see you later!" Ken called, and stepped through the door, still dragging
Jeros with him, the two gods at the table waved and went back to reading their
articles.
Meanwhile, at a temple in the clouds, a massive pillar of electronics with
computer monitors and consoles stood, at about a fourth the size of the
Yggdrasil
tree, it too was a magnificent sight, cables and wires came everywhere from the
tower to link up with yet another section, lights of every colour blinked
randomly
on the tower, and the soft hymn of the system loading data could be heard.
A small crackle came from the tower, and small bursts of lightning began
forming at a console, shortly a small cotton-like ball formed from the lightning
and bounced from the console, a nearby figure saw this and came up behind it
just as it expanded itself, it bore the face and ears of a rabbit, but had eight
legs
like a spider, it noticed the looming shadow and looked up.
Standing over it was a young girl, she looked about twelve years old, and
had long black hair, she wore a white robe with red collars and trimmings and a
white mini-skirt, her rob circled around her back and draped down, making it
look like a
tuxedo tail, she wore large white gloves which had large red gems on it. She had
blue,
plectrum shaped symbols on her forehead and cheeks, and her brown eyes carefully
eyed
the strange creature, suddenly, she pulled out a hammer, red at the tips with a
long metal
rod and a red pointed end, and swung it at the creature.
The creature was too quick for her, and easily jumped away as the hammer met
the ground with a metallic sound, furious, the girl chased the creature
repeatedly, each
time missing the swing, after several failed attempts, she managed to nail the
creature
square on the head, the creature's eyes bugged out for a second, and it shortly
disappeared
in a cloud of smoke.
The girl looked in disbelief at the spot where the creature was, "Huh? I got
it?"
she smiled and pulled her hammer back up, "oh, I am such a genius!" she remarked
as
she wiped her forehead, when she suddenly noticed something rubbing up against
her
leg, looking down, she saw that another creature was cuddling against her ankle,
and
the creatures were hopping up and down by the thousands across the temple.
A look of despair crossed her face as the creatures jumped up and down all
around her, and as one jumped on top of her head, she was near the point of
mental
breakdown, "Why me...?" she asked herself and cried out in despair, "Aghh!
Somebody
help me!!!"
As if on cue, deafening sounds of gunshot suddenly rang throughout the temple,
the girl suddenly turned around in time to see three creatures have holes
punched through
them before they disappeared in the smoke.
Ken stood on the other side of the room, holding two short-barrelled shotguns,
still smoking, in his hands, he looked at the young girl and yelled at her,
"Skuld! You're
slacking again! Hurry up and I'll help you clean this mess up!" he then
proceeded to blow
away two more of the creatures.
The girl blushed at Ken's sudden rescue, but was suddenly alert as a gold coin
with about a five feet radius fell from the sky and flattened several of the
nearby
creatures, Jeros teleported next to the coin and shrunk it back to it's original
size, as he
picked up the coin, he looked at Skuld and gave her an annoyed look, "C'mon
Skuld!" he
yelled, "get a move-on!"
Skuld nodded, and they began a massive slaughter of the bugs, by now Ken has
pulled out two assault rifles and began raining lethal lead upon the bugs, Jeros
has
materialised a slot machine, when he pulled the crank, he received a jackpot of
three
seven's, and three of the large gold coins fell from the sky and flattened
several dozen
bugs, Skuld had better control now and picked off the bugs one after another
with her
hammer, shortly after the temple was cleaned of bugs.
Skuld sat on the ground, panting as though she had ran a marathon, Ken, however,
was analysing the system for any damages the bugs may have caused, when he had
finished checking, he began installing a program on the system, shortly
afterwards the
screen blinked and switched to a new screen.
"New bug protection program version 3.1 installed," the computer replied in an
electronic voice, "next task?" it asked.
Ken turned and walked back to where Skuld and Jeros were sitting, "I think you
owe us an explanation as to what happened Skuld."
Skuld blushed slightly, "Well, you know that new game Jeros found...?" she
began.
Ken quickly glared at the young god, "Jeros...?" he began, clearly mad that his
game was the cause of the problem.
Jeros managed a weak smile, "Um... maybe it has a few glitches?" when the other
two raised annoyed eyebrows at him, he broke down, "oh, please!" he begged, "I
didn't
know, please don't tell the Lord! He'll fry me if he finds out!"
Ken just smiled and patted him on the back, "If he does know, I can't really
help
you, but... don't ever pull a stunt like that again and I won't report this
incident."
"Oh! Thank you bro!" Jeros nearly cried in relief to Ken's remark.
Ken then turned his attention to Skuld, who was still breathing heavily from
earlier, "Skuld?" Ken addressed her, and she looked up at his face, blushing
slightly,
"I think you need a break from de-bugging the system, in fact..." he made a
motion
with his hand and a small monitor formed in his hand, "...why don't you go visit
your
older sister?"
Skuld's eyes suddenly brightened and she smiled at the thought, "Really? I can
go visit big sister?"
Ken smiled seeing the little goddess' joy, "Sure, I think you've earned it, go
visit
Belldandy and Urd for awhile!"
Skuld grimaced at Ken's remark, "Ugh... whoever said I wanted to see Urd? I just
want to see Belldandy!"
"Oh, sorry!" Ken smiled as he handed Skuld the small monitor, "here, this will
direct you to where they're living on the surface world."
Skuld took the monitor and crushed Ken in a huge hug, "Oh thank you so much!"
she replied cheerfully and gave him a light kiss on the cheek before she ran out
of the
temple.
Ken just stared after Skuld for a second and smiled, "Kids these days..." he
said to
himself as he walked out of the temple in a different direction.
Jeros just stood where he was, first looking at the direction Skuld left in, and
then
at the direction which his brother was heading, and sighed. As a close friend to
Skuld, she
told him many secrets which he has kept, even to this date, he slowly ponders
about the
one she just recently told him, "I... I have a crush on your brother..." he
remembers as she
told him this how she blushed, "...please, don't tell Ken this! Promise me!" he
shook his
head and began following his brother, and couldn't believe how Ken couldn't see
the
obvious...
