That's baby Caleb in the front, and LeeAnn was pregnant with
Caleb when the family photo was taken. And the
hands holding Caleb are not Mike's, they're
LeeAnn's brother's (Andrade's).

Confusing? Only because this photograph never happened--it's a splice
of two photos. One was taken at a wedding a month or so before
Caleb's birth, and Caleb's photo (being held by
his Uncle Andrade) was taken a couple of weeks
after he was born. The original family photo
had a large, blank area right in front
of Mike, just the right size for Caleb,
so the two pictures were scanned,
cropped, merged, and smoothed together.
The result is a family photo
that never really happened!
