History

Pastor Liang and family

Our church started off as a group of people at the Willowdale SDA Church who wanted to hold gatherings in Chinese.

The church started approximately in the year of 1982.

Church members from CAA

Later, as more people attended the gatherings, they were held at the CAA school located next to the Willowdale SDA Church.

Finally, on March 29th, 1997, after numerous delays in construction, we moved to our current location and held our first gathering at our new church. The new church cost $1.7 million to build, and it was the first church in the Ontario Conference of SDAs that was built without a mortgage. A particularly large donation of $800,000 obtained with the help of Elder Li, as well as help from the Chan Foundation, undoubtedly helped make that possible.
