1999.6.1 GeoPlus
It seems this site is becoming a general news site, rather than news about manga ^.^
I've joined GeoPlus in May and all the geocities pop-up ads are now gone from my site! Isn't that nice? No more annoying ads that are ugly and distracting! The first month of GeoPlus is free, but I guess I'll keep paying afterwards, a page without geocities ads is just so much better to surf.

BTW, I've just created a guest book, please sign my guest book! Leave a message, and I'll remember you forever!

There's a pretty good deal at the new Chapters online store. You can get $10 coupons from Chapters.ca, and use it to buy anything, even something less than $10. First, get a coupon
here and go to chapters.ca.

1999.2.8 Some Interesting Links
I was surfing the web the other day and found several interesting official artists' sites. These sites have pictures drawn by the artists themselves and actually remind you of the style of the artist, I find them refreshing to visit.

1998.12 Rotten Teacher Formula #5- Kodaka Kazuma
Volume 5 is out already, but I'm still waiting for the chinese version! The teacher Masayoshi, and his student are such a perfect match when making fun of others, these 2 are probably the smartest characters in the story! But what'll happen to them? That can't really be love???

1998.11.30 Bronze #10 - Minami Ozaki
After almost 2 years since the last volume, Bronze #10 is finally out!!

If you still remember what happened in #9, Koji and Izumi's life was starting to get together. Izumi's leg was healed and was doing really well in soccer, Koji, as jealous as ever, seemed to have gotten Izumi's attention. Izumi, in his own way, did finally admit that he really loved Koji. For several months, they were living together quite happily.

It was Christmas day (Koji's birthday), Izumi woke up early as usual, did a little training with Koji, and went out for a jog. But his destination was really Tiffany & CO., where he would get a diamond cross necklace he ordered a while ago for Koji's birthday. On his birthday ( Aug. 15 ), Koji gave him a ring, which he thought was a nice gift. People would ask Izumi about the ring, but since Koji was always wearing gloves, Izumi thought a necklace would be a nice gift compared to the ring. (hmmhmm, really? don't understand why ...)

After Izumi took the necklace, he was hit by a car on his way home. Of course that was no accident, who else would do such a thing? Last time it was Koji's eldest brother trying to hurt them, now it was his second brother Akihito's turn to ruin their life. With Izumi lying on the road, bleeding, that was the end of Bronze 9.

The author would never let the characters live in peace .... they were starting to live a life, Izumi was hit by a car, if he was killed, then perhaps the story could end here eventually, but in volume #10, they found out that Izumi was not dead yet. Worse than death itself, his spine was broke, very probably, he would be paralyzed for the rest of his life, would never be able to walk or stand again. Perhaps he could play soccer still in his dreams, but everyone thought that his life, which depended heavily on soccer, would be over. Koji even tried to kill him before he wake up, but stopped at the last moment by Shibuya.

In Bronze 10, there's really only about 60 pages of the story of Bronze, the rest is several other short stories. At the end of these 60 pages, Izumi woke up in the hospital, with Koji, vowing to himself that everything would be ok, by his side.

I can't really say now I'm looking forward to volume 11, with years of these up and down plots, the story is getting boring. Minami Ozaki may as well kill the characters so as to end the story, then she can start a new one, do it all over again with the same characters!
