A Few Words About Me and My Family

There isn't much to me. I am 22 years old and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh on April 27, 1996, with a Bachelor's Degree in English Writing and a minor in Computer Science. During my years at Pitt, I was a member of the Jazz Ensemble for three semesters and a member of the Asian Student Association. I was also a member of the University of Pittsburgh Panther Rugby Football Club for seven semesters. (Resumé)

Beginning in January of 1997, I will be teaching English Conversation at KukJae Foreign Language Institute in Suwon, Korea (an hour or two south of Seoul, Korea) for a period of one year. After which, I will return to the United States and enter a graduate school for Secondary Education. I enjoy writing fiction and hope to be published soon. I am currently working on my first novel titled, Home Again in the Land of the Morning Calm. While I am striving to become recognized as a writer, I want to teach English writing and literature at the high school level, maybe even at my old high school, Penncrest, in Media, Pennsylvania (my hometown for 14 years and a suburb of Philadelphia).

My older sister, Bona, lives in Wilmington, Delaware, and recently graduated from the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Pennsylvania. She is now working and has money to buy her younger brother many nice gifts. My younger sister, Maria, and my parents live south of Cleveland, Ohio, in a small town called Brecksville. My Father spends his days working at St. Vincent's Charity Medical Hospital and spends his nights cruising the WWW. He upgraded his 14.4k baud modem to a 33.6, but dreams that the local cable system will someday offer the internet over cable. She spends her days volunteering herself at the St. Andrew Kim TaeGon Korean Catholic Church in Cleveland to serve God and the community. She also drives for "Meals on Wheels" and is volunteer at a school for retarded children. If she isn't making the world a better place to live, including our own home, she is in charge of making my younger sister a better person. My younger sister plays soccer, runs track, plays the violin with skill, studies vigorously, constantly talks on the phone, and spends her other time complaining about how little time she has. She's currently in the ninth grade and already has her sights set on the University of Pennsylvania.
