The story revolves around a group of kids who met at summer camp. The world's weather patterns changed, and snow fell on their summer camp. a digital device (digimon) fell before each child. they children were then transported to another world, the digital world (see Kidd video- the flipside), where the digimon were living creatures. these digital monsters fight to defend/protect their friends, the children. the digimon can digevolve into more powerful creatures, and do as the show progresses.

Taichi "Tai" kamiya
the leader and narrator, his digimon is Koromon a talking head that blows bubbles.
koromon digevolves into Agumon in the first episode, and later evolves into greymon,Metal Greymon, and Wargreymon
Sora Takenouchi
Yamato "Matt" Ishida
The cool guy, and tsunomon becomes gabumon, who later becomes garurumon, and the ultracool WereGarurumon and MetalGarurumon
Koushiro "Izzy" Izumi
Izzy is the computer whiz of the group
motimon/mochimon becomes tentomon who eventually evolves into kabuterimonand Megagabuterimon
Mimi Tachikawa
Mimi's favorite color is pink. She has the fashion sense
Tanemon becomes palmon/parumon becomes togemon, and eventually Lilimon
Takeru "T.K." Takaishi
Matt's little brother
Tokomon becomes Patamon, and later enjemon/angelmon (the angel digimon-too cool!)
Joe Kido
afraid of everything, joe is accompanied by Bukamon/pukamon who becomes Gomamon, and later, ikkakumon and Zudomon with vulcan hammer action
Hikari "Kari" Kamiya
she joins later with gatomon(tailmon)/angelwoman and also nefertimon,
the parents show up and start acting real cool, but if you haven't seen it, you may want to., if you have seen the show, myotismon, piedmon, cherrymon, apocalymon and all, this may not be all you hoped for, but you may want to look for these new armor-digivolving characters:
Davis(Daisuke) and Veemon(Buimon), who becomes flamedramon and raidramon
Hawkmon and Yolei(Miyako)
Cody(Yuri/iori) and Armadillomon(armadimon), who becomes Digmon
Wormmon and Kaiser/Ken, the digimon emperor
Wallace/Michael and Gumimon(Teriamon)who becomes seadramon
