Josh's $0.02: This long awaited follow-up Mandarin album to "Scenic Tour" doesn't disappoint. The album contains two Cantonese covers and includes a bonus year 2000 Faye calendar and a bonus VCD relating to Faye's Pepsi commercial and theme song, "Spectacular", which is the lone song written and composed by Faye on the album. Faye was reportedly paid $1 million US by Pepsi for her collaboration with them. Again, I may be biased but I love this album, it rocks. Every track has a very fresh feel and Faye once again shows growth as an artist. This album contains the perfect blend of cool alterna-rock tracks and moving ballads that display Faye's sweeter than sweet voice. Continuing the trend from last year's "Scenic Tour" album, Faye's daughter Tong appears on the title track. This album is thoroughly enjoyable and I highly recommend it. My Fayevourite tracks include "Hypnotize", a wicked alterna-rock song, and "Postman", a beautiful Faye ballad. Hits include: "Spectacular", "The Moon At That Moment", and "Postman".
Note: The songs with letters in parentheses above have essentially the same musical arrangement. Also, a Japanese release version of the album was released in October 1999. It includes all 12 songs on the album, plus "The Last Blossom" (Remix) but no VCD.
