Mortal World / Yun Gan
(composed by Miyuki Nakajima, lyrics by Lin Xi, translated by Natalie Ku)
There ain't necessarily beautiful sky
after rains and storms,
and there ain't necessarily rainbow
on a sunny day,
so even though you look innocent,
it doesn*t imply that you are ignorant.
There ain't necessarily starts and ends
for all love stories,
and there ain't necessarily panic
at the end of solitude,
but you can never avoid
the period of pain at the beginning.
Hope that your eyes can see nothing
but smiles,
hope that every tear you shed
can touch people*s hearts,
hope that all your dreams
starting from this moment
will not turn out to be vague.
If the heaven and the mortal world
really deserve to be glorified,
then it's because of you who has livened them up.
How large is the sky
and how big is the earth,
the world is always more blurred than you can imagine.
I am not hard-hearted enough
to tell you more of the truth,
just hope that you can understand my words.
(translated by Abby Wu)
When the storm is over it may not be a bright sky
Not that a sunny sky can ensure there'll be rainbows
That's why if you look innocent
It does not represent your ignorance
Not all relationships must have a beginning and an ending
At the end of lonesomeness it may not be panic
However, life cannot avoid
The moment of pain in its beginning
Wish your eyes observe only smiles
Wish every drop of your tears can touch the hearts of people
Wish your every dream from now on will no longer turn out empty
Heavens and mortals, if it really deserves a praise
It's because of you, who makes it become so lively
It's a broad universe, and the world is more faintly than you think
I can bear to lie no longer, and wish you can understand
Wish you will understand, what to follow and where to go
