Meadowview of Glastonbury Homeowners' Association Meeting Minutes

I.         Roll Call:

 II.       Old Business:

·         None

III.     New Business:

·         Allen Cohn has sent a letter indicating it is the responsibility of the Homeowner’s Association to maintain the common areas.  A letter in response to Allen Cohn’s letter will be sent out after some review and revision.  Responsibility will be requested from Allen until final approval has been reached by the Town and the Homeowner’s Association.

·         Due to Peter Ellis’ resignation, the Board will be shifting the position of Treasurer.  This will be decided on a later date. UPDATE: Paul has volunteered and been appointed interim Treasurer, as well as Secretary.

       ·         At the next meeting with the homeowners, the following will be discussed:

Þ      2000 budget

Þ      vote on turnover rate of board officers from 1/3 to ¼

Þ      interest of people for our meetings to see if we should hold monthly or quarterly meetings

Þ      pet scooping ordinances

       ·         We are paid and current on our bills.

       ·         There are 4 outstanding association dues.  Jean will follow up with phone calls to those to determine reasons.

     ·         Letter in response to requests for building structures has been given to Jean to send out.

     ·         We will be requesting the formation of a landscaping committee for next year.

      ·         Evelyn to provide Paul with additional P.O. Box key at next meeting.

 IV.    Assignments

      ·         Jean will talk to Paul about our finances and reports.

      ·         Evelyn to revise response letter to Allen Cohn.

      ·         Jean to contact delinquent homeowners for collection of Association dues.

      ·         Jean to get letter of resignation from Peter Ellis.

 V.  Next Meeting as scheduled for Thursday, October 19.
