There are quite a few English-language webzines covering Japan on the Web. Two of the most interesting are Tokyo Now Online and Tokyo Kaleidoscoop.
You may have heard of Microsoft's webzine, Slate. Whether you have checked it out or not, you should see the parody 'zine Stale. Each article includes a link to the Slate article it parodies. I only wish they would make more!
In addition to its website above, Viz also has a webzine called J-Pop. With information on Japanese pop culture, manga, anime, and games, it's one site you've gotta see!
