Judging system for the Budokai tourney(97-98)
System of judging for the Tenkai-Ichi Budokai:
Just like the elimination rounds, your attacks and defenses will be
rated with points. However, unlike the elimination rounds, if your
defense is rated lower than your opponent's attack, then you will
recieve a certain amount of damage to your body!
I, being the referee, will inform you if you are damaged by your
opponent.
My decision is final, and you must take your injuries into account for
the rest of the match!
I would like to remind the fighters that you are being judged based on 4
things:
1) Credibility (How believeable is that attack/defense? Can he do that
with the damage he's taken?)
2) Effectiveness (How effective is the attack? Does the defense
effectively counter the attack?)
3) Description (Does it paint a vivid picture in our minds, while at the
same time not being too confusing?)
4) Creativity (Is it boring, or is it interesting, cool, or fun?)
The fight ends when your opponent is decisivly beaton. This means
either unconsies, unable to continue fighting, or dead... fighters may
also give up if they so desire. There will be no time limit for the
fight.
However, there will be a time-limit on responses. A fighter is expected
to respond within 200 seconds, or he will be penalized a little... if he
takes more than 300 seconds, the penalty will be more severe. If your
browser times out or your computer crashes, it is unfortunate... but
that will not be acceptable as an excuse.
