A brief overview of Naomi Shifra, Photographer

Naomi Shifra was born in Providence, R.I., but has lived, worked and played in Seattle for the past 30 years. She was handed a camera at a very young age and has not stopped taking photographs since. All her work is one of a kind....taken in Europe and the United States. Naomi is the kind of person who spots a photo opportunity at a glance and if you go looking for her, you will probably find her in odd places trying to get that one perfect shot. Naomi is also interested in doing " people portfolios " and has taken photographs of numerous women and men and shown them exactly how beautiful they really are. Her subjects are always astounded at the results. Naomi's work with the camera produces the unusual and sometimes haunting work you see here. The camera lens is an extention of her eye and she tries to capture on film the extraordinary world we live in.

Greetings and blessings!  I am Naomi Shifra, a Minister, a R.N., a
counselor, a healer, a photographer, a poet and a psychic, who has been
involved in the World Peace Movement since my hippie days.  I also am a
Reike master and massage therapist.  Yes, I love to help people....my
birthday is July 5th....I am a double Cancer with my moon in Aquarius.

I teach the path of Quanyin, the female Buddha,
who shares with us the knowledge that all is connected....
and that the path to follow is one of Mercy, Compassion and Enlightenment.  World peace and harmony begin with us!
