GIVE THANKS

Give thanks for
air, water and warmth, and for the awareness
that the world is sustaining you in this moment.
Such simple thoughts are seeds of love.
Simple gratitude grows into compassion.
Compassion and living in loving kindness breeds joy.
Breathe in gratitude. Breathe out loving kindness.
May you live in joy.

WEAVING
SOULS
Lives entwined and interwoven,
luminous fibers binding our souls.
People making heartfelt connections,
with those we've touched, yet may never know.
Each one bearing gifts ~
we as a collective co-create the whole.
An offering of service, purpose, words of wisdom ~
unites us in love for oneness is the goal.
The different roads and paths
need not concern us now or in the end.
For all of the paths that we follow
lead us home in peace, love and harmony again!
Tammara Elizabeth Toth

Translation of the Lord's Prayer
from old Aramaic
(the language it was first recorded
in).
O cosmic Birther of all radiance
and vibration! Soften the ground of our being and carve out a space within
us where your Presence can abide.
Fill us with your creativity so that we may be empowered to bear the fruit
of your mission.
Let each of our actions bear fruit
in accordance with our desire.
Endow us with the wisdom to produce
and share what each being needs to grow and flourish.
Untie the tangled threads of destiny
that bind us, as we release others from the entanglement of past mistakes.
Do not let us be seduced by thatwhich would divert us from our true purpose,
but illuminate the
opportunities of the present moment.
For you are the ground and the fruitful
vision, the birth-power and fulfillment, as all is gathered and made whole
once again.

Desiderata
Go placidly amid the noise and haste and remember what peace there may be in
silence.
As far as possible without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and cleanly; and listen to others,
even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune,
but do not distress yourself with imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.
Be careful.
Strive to be happy.
Desiderata was found in old St. Paul's Church, Baltimore, Maryland,
unsigned but dated 1692
