Kouryuu wants to get close to Shuuichirou, so he joins them at their dinner. Kohaku cannot be with them because an angel cannot bear the sight of things being killed and consumed. However, he wonders why Kouryuu is there tonight. Shuuichirou wants to buy some cigarettes after dinner, but Kohaku offers to buy it for him at the vending machine. He sets off happily, but Shuuichirou worries about him.
At the vending machine, a white cat with golden eyes jumps out and starts to chase after Kohaku. Meanwhile, Kouryuu tries to seduce Shuuichirou in the garden. Kokyou sees that through the windows, murmurs to himself how he was like that before, but stops when Hisui appears behind him. Kouryuu pushes Shuuichirou down and leans against his body, but Shuuichirou is not moved and stays as cool as a cucumber. Kouryuu mentions that he feels especially good around Shuuichirou. Suddenly, Shuuichirou jumps up when he hears Kohaku screaming and flying back. Kohaku told Shuuichirou how the white cat keeps chasing him. Just as everyone thinks, he does not remember the reason why he was going out. Kouryuu is very angry with Kohaku for ruining his "hunt."
In the next day, Kohaku gets changed and goes to find out about that white cat. He cannot find a fierce white cat, but he does find a similar cat that sleeps close to the cigarettes store. He talks to the cat and finds out that it has silver eyes. He is told to come back at night, even he has to appear in chibi form. Therefore, Kohaku tries to come out at night on his own, but Shuuichirou finds out and he goes with him.
It turns out that the cat Kohaku saw in the morning is the same cat that chased him the night before. It attacks Shuuichirou, but it purrs at Kohaku. Kouryuu appears and mocks out loud that the cat has fallen in love with Kohaku. He says that the two will make a fine couple together. The cat seems to have dual personalities. In the day, it is a lazy cat that sleeps the day off. At night, it becomes the golden-eye cat that is full of energy. The cat asks Kohaku to give it a name. Shuuichirou remembers that the old lady of the store calls it Sango ("Coral"), but the cats beams at him. Finally, Kohaku names it "Shinju" since it is as white as the pearl. He tells it not to hurt Shuuichirou again, but it still tends to grab on to Shuuichirou's right arm with its jaws whenever it sees him at night... (
