Krysta Fireclaw

Child of the demon lord Oberon and a human servant of his former demon lord, Krysta was born a half-demon, cursed with a demonic spirit, rather then a soul. And though she looked to be human enough, her white angel wings would never allow her to pass as normal in the land of mortals. Krysta’s mother was killed by her father while she was very young. The memories she had of her mother, though distant and far, helped her retain a bit of her humanity, as well as give her strength, and a bit of kindness she needed to carry on under her father’s abuse and control.

Krysta’s father was defeated and exiled from the kingdom her had conquered and taken power in, leaving him to reign in nothing more then a tavern. His violence and rage were mostly directed towards Krysta, calling her worthless, and beating her whenever he saw fit. This was the way she grew up, a novelty for bar patrons while she was little, and as she grew into womanhood, a sideshow attraction for those with curious sexual appetites, and deep pockets. Her pale complexion and wings were used many times to advertise his “back rooms” of carnal pleasure, as his “fallen angel of lust” was normally tied down in the back, waiting for her next customer.

Krysta’s life became a blur of hopelessness and a need to escape. She grew to learn to use abilities as a demon, and attacked her customers, even killing some. Her father beat her furiously, breaking occasional bones and leaving her with constant bruises. Despite this, as well as many escapes, she could never free herself of her fathers control. But as word spread, customers grew rare, no man wanted to die over a bit of lust when there were plenty of other girls in other taverns. His punishments became worse and worse, nearly killing her more then once, but she never gave up. Oberon was forced to change her role, and made her into a barmaid.

Having escaped the daily abuse she had endured for over three hundred years was only a minor relief, for she lived in fear now that if she dropped her guard, she would end up right were she started. And when a mysterious man named Vincent stumbled upon the tavern, she took his offer and escaped with him. She traveled briefly with him and a woman whom she learned to be her cousin Robin. Vincent began disappearing from time to time, and returning with the smell of blood on him. And when Robin was kidnapped by Oberon, she learned Vincent’s true secret. Together, with the help of a demon trapped inside Vincent, they Defeated Oberon, and rescued Robin. The demon revealed himself as a beast of pain and evil. And she became drawn to him. His name was Chaos. Enticed by the joys of her newfound freedom, Krysta was determined to explore the world around her, being young for a demon at 420. It soon became obvious to most around her that she had a gift for causing much trouble, leaving her friends to come to the rescue whenever she got in over her head. It was on these adventures that she became friends with a half-vampiress named Gwen, who shared her gift with getting into trouble.

It was mostly Vincent or Chaos to come to the rescue, and it was Chaos that she found to be more then intriguing. A great beast of violence, built upon layers of brutish muscle and a demeanor that made most run from his very presence. He was brutish and threatening yet at the same time, he seemed in able to bring any real harm to her. In fact, it seemed that the only time he could show gentleness was with her. It was this safety that brought her to love him, and the trust she showed in him that he fell in love with her.

Happiness did not last long, as her father was not one to be kept down for long. She began to have nightmares, and soon they had to face the truth. He was back for his daughter, his personal slave and big money maker. With Chaos’s help, Krysta was finally able to kill her father. Ending his control over her forever, and in turn avenging Chaos as well, for it was Oberon that took away his kingdom from him and banished him to exile so many years ago. Oberon’s effects were not entirely gone though, as the beatings Krysta had undergone throughout her life had left her unable to bear a child. It was Gwen this time that came to the rescue. Using her own body, and an ancient ritual of transference, Chaos managed to fix Krysta’s womb, let her birth a child. The demon daughter of Chaos and Krysta, Alise, was born. Her wings, though angelic, were as black as night.

With her father sent to the tortures of hell, and a loving family, Krysta seemed to have genuinely found happiness at last. It was now that they realized though, that Krysta could never truly be free. Once again her dreams began to haunt her, and it became obvious that the only way to truly be free was to destroy the demon spirit that was her father. Chaos set off towards the bowels of hell, managed to shed himself of Vincent, leaving him locked away in a hellish prison, and stealing his gift of holy.. He then went out alone and battled the Spirit of Oberon in the flames of hell. The magic holy helped him to annihilate Oberon, blowing his every existence from the world.

Chaos revived Vincent, giving them separate bodies. Krysta was now able to have her Chaos to herself. After helping Vincent by partaking in a resurrection of his fallen love, Chaos Promised Krysta and Alise a kingdom of there own, and took off to another continent. Along the way Chaos has introduced her to many people, friends and enemies old and new. She’s befriended them all, gave them her trust, and learned that trust is not something to be given, for there was more then on instance of betrayal. And they were punished for there transgressions.

They’re kingdom has grown into a thriving community, her daughter grown into a young woman, her husband a fierce and strong leader, and she has become a beloved, and respected woman, who keeps her husbands tyranny in check. And She couldn’t be happier.
