Over the years Vincent did many things. He became a blacksmith apprentice to a man named ward, and later opened his own shop for 25 years. When his shop was attacked by a raiding party of bandits, he blacked out and awoke feeling sore, and covered in teh blood of the men he slaughtered. he was soon forced to leave the area, being called a demon and shunned by all the locals.

Having his buisness destroyed he dicided to attempt a new carrer as a weaponsmith, focusing on a new projectile weapon known as gun. But as time passed and his body refused to age suspiscion grew about him. the accused him of vampirism and is banished from the area.

After his banishment he came to understand his curse, and the evil within him. He proceeded to drown his sorrow in the drink, and over 200 years became a myth known as the drinking demon. The demons presence within his body even bagan to manifest itself in in physical ways, as his speed and reflex's quickened, his strength honed itself, and when in his darkest of moods, his body sprouted leathery wings. It was in these years that vincent learned the evil in his heart really was a demon. And that the blackouts of death were not caused by drunken fury, but by the demon Chaos taking control. this lasted until he was captured by a paladin named Collin.

Collin's mistake occured when he found vincent's secret, and tried to perform an exorcism. Vincent blacked out, and awoke a week later, wearing the paladins Blody armor. Chaos had made a large error though, and had left the paladin's remains mostly intact. Vincent discovered them not far from where he was at, and searched the mans remians. he found his diary, and read of a magic reffered only as a holy power, contained in a relic called the obelisc cross. he spent 17 years searching for it, and when he found it took only a dagger shaped shard from it, wanting only enough to keep the demon at bay.

With his ability to control the demons possesion in his hands, Vincent sought his grave, searching the lands near the lab's ruins where he once worked. Where he stubled upon anotehr unmarked grave. As he unearthed it he found the body of his lost love Rei, which looked as fresh as the day she died. He brought her corpse to the grave of there daughter, where he gave her a proper burial, as well as one for himself. he was finaly allowed to rest with his family. this sleep was never ment to end.
