Generations ago, with a great dream for the future, mankind departed from planet earth,
seeking a life on space colonies.  But as time went by, the World Federation brought
the colonies under its control one after another using its overwhelming mlitary power,
under the name of peace and justice.

After Colony: Year 195--The beginning of Operation Meteor, it was a secret
operation by a few colonies which tried to stand against the Federation.
The operation was to secretly camouflaged combat weapons into the earth.
However the operation had been detected by Federation leaders......

Gundam 08th MS Team

    Gundam 08th MS team is a continuation of the first(main) gundam series.  Set in the year 0079, this series is shown in the eyes of the common soldier instead of Newtype pilots.
    The story of Gundam W focuses on five pilots and their respected Gundams.  Each of the pilots live in one of five Lagrange points along the Earth orbit.  For decades, while the Earth's surface was tormented by war and civil strife, the space colonies' tranquil atmosphere presented an alternative for war-weary settlers.  When the wars ended on Earth, a new world government was formed,  the "United Earth Sphere Alliance", a government committed to bring pease through force of arms.  Therefore, in the name of peace and justice, the Alliance seized control of the colonies.
    To lobby for the colonies' independence, the space colonies chose a man by the name of Heero Yuy to represent them.  Uniting all of the colonies, Yuy's message of peace and demilitarization was accepted by the people of Earth.  But when Yuy was assassinated in the year AC 175, the colonists' hope of independence was crushed and the colonies were thrown in turmoil.  To reply in return against the alliance, each of the five colonies each sent a Gundam to the planet Earth to defeat the alliance.
      Gundam W:  Endless Waltz picks off where the original Gundam W series picks off.  In a 3 part OVA series, Endless Waltz gives a new crisis for the five gundam boys one year after the series ended.  As a sequal as well as a prequal, this series also wraps up any questions that were asked about the five boys.
