''The Promise that you kept"- Part 1
It seemed that for once, everything was perfect...love filled
the hearts of the sailors and even Serita was finaly happy...perfect...
'Serenity! That's disgusting!'
'Noh, it noht!' Serena was once again stuffing her face with sundaes.
Some things will never change.
'Ugh! This is so embaracing!'
'Yeah, well...deal with it!'
Serita smiled. She looked around...the park was as quiet as ever that
evening. She could only hear Serna's chewing...
'Serena...'
'Yeah?'
'Have you thought about the moon?'
Serena put away the last sundae and looked up at the beautiful star.
'Do you really want to rebuilt it Serita?'
'I'm still confused....Senite and I will probably rebuilt his planet, or
mine where his people will live. That would be great! But...'
'What?'
'I don't want to rule...I want to be free! I just want...i don't know!
You probably have no idea how it's like to be the heir to the moon
throne! It's terrible! So many responsibilities...I just don't know...'
'Serenity, I don't care what you rule, as long as you are happy...'
Serita smiled.
'Are you happy? asked Serena.
'I am...I have Senite, I have my home, I have my friends...and you.
Their is nothing else I need to be absolutely happy...'
'Oh, Seritany...' Serena hugged her sister. ' You can, of course, rebuilt
our home..it's just...you'll be on a whole other planet..and I won't be
able to see you as often..'
'Serenity, where ever I am, whatever I am you will always have me.
All you need to tell me is that you need my help and I will help you.'
she looked down at her, 'Remember, I'll always be here to protect you
and our home...
'Promise?'
'I promise Serenity, I will always be here to protect and help you...'
'I love you Seritany...'
'I love you too...'
They were still hugging when a the sky suddenly opened and a pink
ball of energy flew out of it.
'What the hell?' shouted Serita covering Serena.
'Wait! Seritany! It's Rini!'
'It's what?'
Out of the pink ball of energy, a girl appeared...
'Serena!' she shouted running up to her.
'Rini! I missed you!'
'Serenity?' wondered Serita.
'Oh! I'm sorry! Seritany, this is my future daughter, Rini. Rini, I want
you to meet my sister!'
'Seritany?' Rini's eyes filled with terror.
Serena sighed.
'Hello! What are you doing in the past?'
'Mommy said that I haven't trained enough! She wants me to
continue my studies!'
'Oh, well...you got the perfect teacher! Seritany, can you train Rini
to become a good Sailor Scout?'
'Why, is she a sailor?' asked Rini looking at Serita.
'Yes! She is the best!'
'No, I'm not...the best are those who can feel the pain of the enemy...
I can't...' Serita turned around, 'Come on, Serenity, we have to meet
the girls at Raye's, remember?'
'Yeah...we'll be right there!'
Serita went away as Serena and Rini started to slowly follow her to Raye's.
'Are you sure you can trust her? She looks sort of..angry,' asked Rini.
'Serita is just...she is being hard on herself for being heartless for m
any years...you have to forgive her, but if you want to see the best
sailor scout, that's Serita! She can go through fire and won't even get
hurt...she is strong...but she is also very weak and that's why you have
to be gentle with her...'
'I understand..' said Rini.
'I knew you would!'
'Serena?'
'Yeah?'
'Wipe off that piece of a chocolate sundae you have left on your right cheek!'
'Don't start with me!'...
'Where are they?!' exclaimed Raye.
'There comes Serita!' answered Mina pointing to the opened door,
through which Serita just entered.
'Serita! Did you guys forget that we have to study?'
'No, actually...we came here didn't we?!' shouted Serita.
'Whoa...' said Fiona.'It's okay...let's get started...'
'I don't feel like studying,' said Serita sitting down on Raye's bed.
'Serita, if you won't study you won't be able to graduate! You are already
getting D's in all of your classes!' sais Justina.
'So? I don't see the point of getting good grades, if we all know what
my future is going to be!'
'Seritany...sailor scouts need to know things...' said Luna, 'they need
to be able to...'
'Well , the things that I know have kept me alive for so long! So, I really
don't see the point of studying! Make Serena study!' protested Serita
pointing to Serena who just entered with Rini.
'Rini!' exclaimed the scouts.
'What are you doing here?' asked Lita.
'Mom said that I am not fully trained yet...she wants me to contine
my training! With you guys!'
'Great!' said Fighter. 'Who the hell is this?'
'This is sailor Chibi Moon...' said Serena, 'my daughter!'
'Whoa...' Fiona smiled, 'so...I knew it! You and Darrien...'
'No you moron!' shouted Serita. 'This is her daughter who came
from the future!'
'Then why didn't you say so?' asked Fiona.
'Because I assumed you knew...' said Serena.
'Right...Great!' said Fiona.
'What?' asked Lyn.
'All we need is a stupid kid to drag us down in our mission!'
'I'm not a stupid kid! I'm 8 years old!'
'Oh, yeah? Well, I'm 18! That's ten years older than you! 15 is the
youngest that is excepted in the sailor scouts!'
'Well, I was here before you! So, I get to stay!' shouted Rini hiding
behind Serena.
'Come on, Fiona...' started Mina.
'Stay out of this! You are no sailor soldiers if you allow a kid this age
to be on your team! You are just a bunch of fucking losers!'
'Fiona...' said Serita, but Fiona was angry. Why was there a kid on
the team? She could ruin everything! Their mission was not a joke!
Serita didn't want to interrupt her friend because she did partly agree
with her...but Fiona was going too far!'
'you don't know what you are talking about!' shouted Rini. 'I have
been defeating enemies my whole life! I deserve to be on this team!'
'Yeah, maybe in a couple of years! For now, we are not fighting with
you!' shouted Fiona storming out of the room. Serena looked helplessly
at her sister.
'I'll handle this...' said Serita and followed her friend. The rest of the
Sailors of Honor remained where they were. Serena sat down on her
knees and faced Rini. Her eyes were watering...Rini was about to cry...
'Oh, Rini...don't cry...she was just being over protective...don't worry
about her...'
'She didn't have the right to say those things!' cried Rini.
'I know...' Serena hugged her...'Don't worry Rini...Serita will take care of
it...They won't bother you again...'
'They?!' asked Lyn.
'I mean she..' corrected herself Serena.
'Yeah, sure you did!' said Lyn. 'You know, maybe Fiona was right! You
are a bunch of losers to allow a kid on your team!' she shouted and
walked out. Justina stood up.
'Justina? wondered Amy. They have become real good friends with
her and it would be a shame if she took the opposite side.
'Fiona didn't exactly put it in the right words...um..what she meant to
say was...that one mistake can kill all of us..and that we shouldn't have
a person on the team who is less experienced than we are...we need good
warriors to protect the princess...' she turned to her friend, 'sorry, Amy...'
Amy nodded as Justina walked out.
'Maybe I should go back...' said Rini.
'No! Rini! You can't just give up because they don't think you are good
enough!' Serena smiled. 'I'll talk to them...'
'No, thanks Serena...I'll take care of it..once they see me in battle, they
won't mind me on the team!' smiled Rini.
'Yeah! You show 'em, Rini!' shouted Lita.
Fiona was standing on the terrace...
'That was pretty mean, Fighter...'
'I know it was...but we have to do what we have to do to keep this
mission going.'
'I know...still, you had no right to speak to the little princess like that...when
I die, she will be your queen...'
'Don't say that! You won't die!'
Serita smiled...
'I'm not immortal...Rini is the next heir...she needs to learn how to fight
or there will be no future!'
'I know...but...one mistake and...'
'I know...I know...give it time Fighter...just give her a chance...'
'Idiots!' shouted Lyn jumping out of Raye's room.
'Huh?'
'I'm sorry to say this..but they are all morons in there! Serena actually
thinks that we all share Fiona's opinion! '
'We do...' said Serita.
'Serita?' wondered Fiona.
'Yes, I don't trust the little girl myself...but she can be the next queen
to my future kingdom...so I am willing to deal with her...'
Justina joined them.
'What you too?' asked Fiona.
'No, actually I have been thinking, that maybe we shouldn't fight with
the Sailor scouts over that little girl...Serita you could train her in your
free time and she won't have to go to battle with us...how does it sound?'
Fiona cleared her throat...
'Justina...Serita and a kid...not good...'
'Yeah, well she needs to get used to children...she will have some of
her own some day!'
'Um..guys...' said Serita.
'What? Serita, you have to agree, that you and Senite will have
children some day!' said Lyn.
'Yeah...and I wanted to tell you, that that some day...came three days ago...'
'WHAT??!!!' shouted Lyn.
'Shhh! It's a secret!'
'You mean...' whispered Justina pointing at Serita's stomach, the princess
nodded.
'AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!' shouted the girls and started
dancing around the terrace.
The senshi ran out, to see three 18 year old girls dancing Macarena
and pulling each other's hair...
'I can't believe it!' shouted Lyn hugging Serita.
'Believe what?' asked Serena running up to her.
Lyn turned around and looked at her with a disgusted look. Then
faking a little smile she went away...
'Sorry about that...' said Serita pointing in the direction in which
Lyn went...
'Oh! It's okay! It's my fault! I accidentally said something I didn't
mean...I have to apologize...so what are the news?'
'Serita is...' started Fiona.
'Very sorry! We know!' interrupted her Serita. 'I know that Lyn
can't keep her feelings a SECRET and that we DON'T want her
ruining everything...TELL me SERENA....'
Fighter joined together the highlighted words in Serita's stupid
speech and had a 'Secret, don't tell Serena'...Oh! Serita wanted to
keep her pregnancy a secret from Serena...
'How old is Rini?'
'Um...I think she should be about 8 by now...'
'Is she hard to handle?'
'Are you kidding! She is the most annoying creature ever to walk
this planet! She is terrible! I mean she is always...'
'Serenity...'
'Interrupts me and then when Darrien comes over...'
'Serenity!'
'What?'
'I got the point! Is she good in battle?'
Serena looked at Rini, who was playing with Mina and Raye.
'I have to say that for her age, her fighting skills are very good...
but I'm afraid not good enough to defeat a big enemy,' Serena
sighed 'I know that for a grown princess that is terrible..but that
is my point, she is only 8...she can still learn...'
'Her fighting level does not interest me...what i want to know is if
she is paying attention in battle?'
'You mean if she is not like me?'
'Well...'
'It's okay..no, she is not like me...you might even compare her
with Mars...they are both annoying brats!'
'Serenity!'
'Okay...okay...sorry, I just mean that she IS paying attention in
battle and she hates to loose...'
'Very well...' sighed Serita 'We'll fight with her...'
'But Seritany...' started Fighter.
'No, Fighter...she needs to learn..do you remember how I learned?'
Hundreds of years flashed in front of Fighter...she remembered
every single day...of suffering...of slaughter...of being so tired...
'Yeah...' whispered Fighter.
'We had to go through that because we weren't ready....you don't
want her to go through the same just because we couldn't get her ready?'
'No...'
'Good...' Serita turned to Rini. 'Rini! Come here...'
A worried expression appeared on Rini's face...she carefully came up to them.
'We have decided that you can fight with us...but on one condition...'
'What?'
'You never...and I mean never let your guard down...' said Serita
sitting down on her knees, there for, leveling herself with her niece.
'Deal?'
'Deal...'
'Okay...' said Serita getting up...'Um...Serena you wanted to talk to Lyn...'
'Oh, yeah!'
'We'll be waiting for you inside. Come on Rini, let's go...' said Serita.
'No, I want to stay out here...'
Serita turned around and walked away...
Rini sat down on the terrace...she was scared..why was Seritany here?
'Are you worried about the future, Small Lady,' she heard a familiar voice.
'Yes Guardian...I just...don't understand, why?'
Pluto came up to her and staring at the sunset answered:
'You will in time...what has happened in the future may not
repeat in self here...you must understand that they can choose
different paths...diferent from the one's that your mother chose.
But whatever happens now, you must not tell them what awaits
for them in the future...never...do you understand me Small Lady?'
'I do...but I must warn Serena!'
'No! Don't you understand? That if you warn them or tell them...the
history will repeat itself here...in the past...the war will begin...and
many people shall die...believe me Small Lady...and do not utter
a word of this matter to any of the sailor scouts...'
'I understand...I won't tell...'
Pluto raised herself into the air.
'Remember, Small Lady...not a word...' and Pluto disappeared.
'Hey Rini, everything okay?' asked Serena. She and Lyn were
coming back after their talk. Apparantely Serena managed to
appologize and was forgiven.
'Yeah! Let's go! I'm hungry!'
'Oh, so she IS your daughter Serenity...' smiled Lyn.
'Milady, everything is ready for your departure...' said a deep voice.
'Thank you...by the way, did you find them?'
'Yes, milady...but I am afraid there might be a problem...'
'oh?'
'I have determined a strong force among the Sailor scouts..it
is not as powerful as Princess Serenity's was in the Silver Millenium...'
'It's weaker?'
'No, my lady...it's about a thousand times stronger...'
'A thousand times???!!!! That's impossible! Why, even the Black
Warrior didn't have that much energy...and she is dead...could
it be her daughter that posseses such power?'
'The Black Warrior died in the Silver Millenium, my lady...it could
not possibly be her daughter...but there is a princess among the
sailor scouts...I can not determined which one though...'
'Then we will have to find away, won't we?'
'Yes, my lady...'
'It is now that the sun's power to rule the world! I am going to
be the Queen....Queen Nathalia...i like it...'
'it's beautiful my lady...'
'Where will I be staying on Earth?'
'I have designated the neighbourhood in which the sailors appear
to live in...please be careful, milady.'
'Don't worry...all we need to do, is kill the princess of the Moon...
and then, we shall be the rulers...! Start on your first search...I am
going to need some energy for the final battle...so you may collect
it from the people of Earth.'
'Yes, milady.'
'And don't forget! Stay away from the Sailor soldiers!'
'I will do my best...'
The lady with the red hair and orange eyes stepped of her throne.
'Then go...do not disappoint me!'
'I won't...' whispered the second voice and departed.
The Queen sat down again and brushng her hand against her cheek
she looked into the glass of wine she was holding.
'Hmm...' she smiled evily...
