'To love the enemy'-Part5
The moon....with all its beauty and power, it could not fight against
the evil that attacked it...the moon kingdom was destroyed....what was the
point of rebuilding it? Bringing back the painful old memories, that even
in your heart and not visisble to the eyes are still tearing you apart. Why
should the moon kingdom be brought back? That question haunted the moon
princess through her sleep. Serita woke up...
'Come on, sleepy head! You're gonna be late!' shouted Serena.
'Serena??!!!! You're up?!'
'Yeah...what'd you think? We have to go to school, remember?'
'No....' Serita rolled over in her bed. 'I don't feel like it...'
It has been a month since Senite left and in that period Serita's grades
dropped (not that there was anything to drop), she barely went to school or
hung out with the girls anymore...and all she did was sit in her room and
stare at her moon communicator...Weird!
'Come on, Serita! You have to go to school! It's Friday! Remember we always
go to the arcade after school on Friday...don't you wanna go?' Serena sat down
on the edge of the bed.
'No.'
'Seritany, what's going on?'
'Nothing...'
'I don't think so! You're hiding something from me! What is it? Since Erick
disappeared you have been sitting in your room and looking at this stupid
communicator!' Serena brushed back a bang. 'Is Erick the reason?'
'Serenity....' Serita turned around and got up 'Come on, we are going to be
late for school!' she ran into the bathroom and locked the door. Serita
couldn't tell her about Senite...it would be too dangerous for anyone to
know...it had to be kept a secret. But what if there is no secret? What is
Senite is dead? Why hasn't he contacted her yet? Where is he?.......

Senite was lying on his bed. The door opened and Kalonite walked in. She sat
down on the edge of Senite's bed and straigtening her short dress said:
'Senite...Kino wants you to lead another attack...'
'What?'
'He wants you to attack...in a different way....'
'What way?'
'You will attack a certain individual...not a whole group, but one person
who has a lot of energy...I found that person...his name is...Melvin
something...you used to go to the same school as he. Anyway, I want you to
drain all the energy out of him...and Senite...'
'What?'
'Don't mess up this time...'
'Sorry..last time I was...I just forgot about safety...'
'Yeah...you have trouble remembering things...'
'What does that mean?'
Senite got up and turned to the big mirror. He was already wearing his pants,
however his shirt was on the other side of the room. Behind the big mirror,
energy that was stolen by them would fly around, filling up the room with
light that playfully slid against Senite's muscles.
'It doesn't mean anything!'
'Really? Kalonite, why don't you just say what you wanted to say for a long
time? That I messed up? That I should have said goodbye to you? Say it! It
would make you feel much better! Say it!'
'All right! You should have said good bye to me! You should have been there
when i needed you the most!' Kalonite's voice broke as she turned away from
him. 'I loved you Senite...and what you did was unforgivable!'
'I never asked for your forgiveness!' said Senite not looking at her. Kalonite
turned around.
'You never said you loved me...and when you left...I felt so alone...' she
was crying.
'That's why you decided to marry my brother? Because I left you?'
'No! Why can't you understand? You think I am marrying Kino just to get back
at you? Well believe it or not, I am marrying Kino because I love him !
Because I know that he will never leave me like you did!'
'Oh, sure! Why don't you just say that he is better than me?!' shouted Senite.
'No, Senite...I'm not gonna say it...but I'll tell you one thing, he is not
afraid to tell me that he loves me...and you were..'
'What makes you think I loved you?!' asked Senite looking straight at her.
Kalonite looked away. She didn't want to show him the pain that appeared in
her eyes...for years, she tried to hide it...she fell in love and still that
pain tortured her every time she looked at him...every time his name was
mentioned, she cursed herself and wondered what was it that she did wrong for
him to leave her? How was she not good enough? And why does she have to
suffer so? For now, she could no longer hold in that pain. She turned around
and walked out of his room leaving Senite...this time for good...

'There were no more attacks,' said Fiona 'Maybe the enemy went away?'
'No,' said Suzanne (Pluto), 'the enemy is still here...'
'Seritany...are you gonna eat that?' asked Serena pointing at Serita's ice
cream that was melting.
'No, go right ahead..eat it.'
'But Serita,' said Lyn 'You haven't eaten anything today...you look like a
damn sceleton!'
'Mind your own business!'
'This is my business!'
'Hey! Stop it!' shouted Fiona.'Lyn is right, Serita. You haven't eaten
anything in days! It's not healthy for you!'
'Oh! So, what are you on her side now?'
'I'm not on anybody's side! Just....eat,will you?'
'Sorry, i don't feel like it!'
'You better start felling!'
'You guys!....' said Raye.
'Well maybe I don't want to! Who died and made you the food police?!'
'Oh very funny Serita! Did you think of it all be your self?!!'
'Guys!'
'WHAT?!'
'I sense it...i sense evil...'
A strange look of hope appeared on Serita's face. Nobody saw it, but it was
as though the attack of the enemy was pleasing her...she was happy.
'Okay...' said Serena, 'We need to figure out where they will strike next!'
Serita's communicator beeped. Numbers and letters started appearing on it...
Serita looked up:
'The park,' she said.
The girls ran to the Tokyo Park.
'There is nobody here!' shouted Lyn.
'Yeah...we have time to transform!' shouted Serita.
'Seritany, are you sure this is the place?'
'Yeah...I'm sure...'
'Transform!'
'Hey girls!' They were just about to shout out loud the names of their
planets when Melvin had to come along.
'Melvin! Get out of here!'
'Oh, no...don't worry! I know all about your secret mission!'
'You do?' asked Serena. Serita came up to him and taking him by the front
of him shirt, she lifted the poor boy above her.
'What do you know?' she hissed.
'Everything!' whimpered Melvin.
'He knows everything! We got to get rid of him!'
'Serita don't!' said Serena.
'Serenity, he knows more than enough!'
'We can't be sure...Melvin what do you know?'
'I know that you all have this mission where you protect the innocent! But
don't worry I won't tell anybody!'
'Sure you won't!' shouted Serita cliping him to the nearest wall.
'I won't! I promise! I know I am not your best friend, but I will never tell
on you to the teacher!'
'The teacher?' asked Serita.
'Yeah...Ms. Malik...I sort of figured that you guys were going to go through
her files and find the mistakes that she made...I mean i won't tell anybody...
I promise!'
'So all this time you thought our mission was to find files in the teacher's
computer so we can prove that she gave the wrong grades to the good students?'
'Yeah...But I'll never tell! I swear!'
Serita clipped him off the wall, straightened out his jacket and started
cracking up. It was the first time in a month that the sailors saw her laugh...
'There you are, pathetic human!' shouted a monster appearing. It pointed its
weapon at Melvin. Serita however pushed him into the bushes and shouted:
'Come on, sailors! Transform!'
'Mercury Crystal Power!'
'Mars Crystal Power!'
'Jupiter Crystal Power!'
'Venus Crystal Power!'
'Pluto Crystal Power!'
'Moon Love Power!'
'Moon Fighter Power!'
'Moon Justice Power!'
'Moon...Eternal...Make up!'
'Universe....Moon....Power!!!!'
The monster watched in amazement as the 10 sailors transformed.
'We are the sailor scouts! We will right wrongs and triumph over evil! and
that means you!' shouted Serena.
'Same pathetic speech every single time! Don't you get sick of saying the same
damn thing?'
'Don't you get tired of hearing it?' asked Love.
'I'm sick of it!'
'Well, let me end your sufferings! Moon...Fighter...' Fighter was blasted.
'Fighter!' shouted Justice running up to her, only to be blasted away from her.
The monster started shooting at all of them...all except for Serita. She
understood that it was important for Senite to win, but her friends were
getting hurt, and she was not about to let that happen!
'Universe....Max.....Destruction!!!!!'
The monster was history, but in its place others appeared. Among them was
Senite...
'Well, well if it isn't the pathetic moon brats! Nice to see you again...too
bad it's the last time!'
'I don't think so!' shouted Serita. She stood up shielding her friends...the
thoughts that were going through their minds..both of them wanted to abandon
their mission, to throw off the disguise, run away together and never come
back...but they couldn't....Senite's eyes looked at her with such love, that
even Serita could no longer hold in her tears...but she did...she did it for
him!
'I found him, master!' shouted a monster bringing Melvin out of the bushes.
'I don't know anything! I won't tell! I promise!' he shouted.
'Leave him alone Senite!' said Serita.
'What makes you think I will obey you?'
'Because I will make you! Universe...Max...Destruction!!!'
He jumped away...
'It's enough when you mess with my friends, but this is family! And we have to
stick together...in the name of our planet, our kingdom and our honor! I am
Sailor Universe, Princess Seritany and in the name of the moon I will triumph
over nega scum like you!'
It sounded so real that even Senite applauded her artistic ability.
'Too bad, moon brat!'
'Moon Love Arrows!'
'Moon Justice Hurricane!'
'Mars Sniper!'
'Jupiter Oak Evolution!'
'Venus Love me Chain!'
'Universe....Max....Destruction!' the monsters were destroyed, but Senite took
the time and drained energy out of Melvin.
'Melvin!' shouted Serena.
'Give it back Senite!' shouted Fighter.
'How about....no!' Senite looked at Serita, it was her turn.
'Universe...Max...Destruction!' the attack flew at the energy ball and blew it
up. The pink bubble once again returned into Melvin's body.
'Stupid moon brat! You'll pay for that!' shouted Senite and shot at Serita. It
wasn't an attack...it was a note...but nobody saw it, because it created a huge
flash and only Serita could see what it really was.
'I'll get you next time!' and Senite disappeared smiling.
'Seritany, you 'kay?' shouted Serena.
'Yeah! How is he?' she asked pointing at Melvin.
'He'll be fine,' said Mercury.
'Good! Let's go...I'm hungry!' said Serita detransforming.
Serena smiled and following her sister's example she detransformed as well
and all of them went to the nearest cafe.
'Oh...I need to go outside for a second!' exclaimed Serita.
'Don't smoke!' shouted Fiona.
Serita created a face and disappeared with a smile....
She couldn't wait to see what was in the note! Running outside, she quickly
opened the it:
'This needs to end. Meet me in the park at midnight tomorrow, with whoever you
think needs to know about us. I will end it there...then we can be together...
I love you'
Her heart beat faster as she went back into the cafe.

'Kino!'
'Yes?' the general turned around and faced his brother.
'I need you to do me a favor...'
'What kind?'
'You see...well...do you love Kalonite?'
'What kind of a question is that?'
'Just answer it!'
'Yes, I do...why?'
'Then you will understand me...I'm in love...'
'Well...well...well...' a smile appeared on Kino's face as he went up to his
little brother and patted him on the shoulder.
'Finally! Senite is in love! Who is she? Wait! Don't tell me! It's that new
girl that just came to the ship! What was her name...um...forgot!'
'No! Her name is Serita...'
'Really? It's a beautiful name...well, who is she? How did she escape the
guards?'
'What?'
'Well, is she one of the people that saved themselves on the ship before the
planet blew up?'
'What? No! She is a human!'
'What?!' Kino stepped back.
'Yes, she is a human.'
'A human? Humans are our enemies!'
'Kino, WE are humans! Just because we lived on a different planet and were
trained diferently doesn't mean that we are a different race!'
'Yes it does!..wait second, you said train...she is a warrior?'
'Yes...a sailor...'
'WHAT???!!!!' Kino was about to have a heart attack. 'I need water!' he said.
'A sailor! This is outrageous! This is....forbidden!!!'
'But I love her!'
'How can you be in love with an enemy? Who is she? Is it Sailor Moon? No!
Sailor Jupiter! No, don't tell me, this is fun! You are in love witht he Black
Warrior! HA HA HA!' Kino was hysterical.
'Yes I am...'
'Say what?'
'I am in love with the Black Warrior...Kino!' His brother was lying on the
floor unconcious. Kalonite ran into the room.
'What happened?' she asked taking Kino head into her arms.
'I don't know...I just told him some news and he just...passed out!'
'What kind of news?'
'Um...I'm in love...'
'With who?'
'The Black Warrior.'
'I'm serious!' shouted Kalonite.
'So am I!' Kalonite dropped Kino's head onto the cold floor.
'Ow!'
'Sorry honey...The Black Warrior??!!!'
'I know!' said Kino getting up. 'This is totally unacceptable! Forbidden!
That girl bewitched you!'
'No she didn't Kino! She loves me too! It all happened the night that we spent
together?'
'Together?' asked Kino lifting a brow.
'Yeah...well...sort of...um...' now it was Kalonite's turn to faint.
'Senite...these feelings that you seem to believe are real...'
'They are! I love her more than anything in the world! And I need you to be
there...when we join our forces with the sailor scouts against the Imperium
guards!' Kino looked at his brother.
'I won't let you do it!' said Kino.
'So...you don't believe me..it doesn't matter, I told you I love her..I didn't
keep it a secret...do what you want, but I am the prince and I will make the
decisoins about our alliances!' Senite turned around and walked out of the big
room.
'Do you believe it? That boy imagined that he is in love and now he is
walking around telling people that he will join our forces with the sailors!
He is not in love! It's just a passing thing!'
'I think it's love,' said Kalonite turning away.
'What makes you say that?'
'I know, trust me...'
'Any special reason for that?'
'Because Senite never says he loves somebody if he doesn't...I just understood
that...'
'What?'
'Kino...'
'What?'
'You brother is in love! and nothing will ever stop him! Not even you,' said
Kalonite and walked out of the room leaving Kino to himself.
