Di Gi Charat is a story about Dejiko, a young princess from the planet Di Gi Charat who came to Earth in the hopes of being a star. She is accompanied on her trip by Puchiko and Gema. Unfortunately, they aren't very smart about leaving Di Gi Charat-sei (planet) and when they arrive on earth, they find they have no where to stay. They soon meet the owner of a Gamers shop and he offers to let them stay in the room upstairs for free, as long as they work in the store. Dejiko meets Hikaru Usada (aka Rabi-en-Rose) and they become rivals right from the get go. There are many other sub characters, such as the guy who is in love with Puchiko and the boy who has a monster crush on Rabi. Of course I could never forget about the "bad guys" of the show. There's Pyoko (she looks like a mouse), the leader of the Black Gema-Gema gang. This gang also includes Coo, Ky, and Rik (they have cute doggy ears and tails).
CHARACTERS
Dejiko-
Dejiko is the princess of DiGi Charat Sei. She is a very sweet girl, but can be very deviant and likes getting things her way. She wants nothing more than to be a big star. She can shoot beams from her eyes (Me kara BEAM)and is angered easily.
Puchiko-
Puchiko is a extremely cute little girl who follows Dejiko around. She can be extremely sarcastic and is extremely soft spoken. Puchiko can also use the Me kara Beam, but she's still learning how to use it properly.
Gema-
No one really knows for sure what Gema is besides a big floating yellow blob. He follows Dejiko and acts as her chaperon and guard.
Rabi-en-Rose-
Rabi is by far the most average character with the saddest story. She was abandoned by her parents when she was young because they believed poverty was the best way to become a star. She loves dice and is almost always seen wearing them. Her father gave them to her as a farewell gift and she's very attached to them. Usada (her real name) can use her bunny ears as a helicopter.
Pyoko-
Pyoko is the leader of the Black Gema Gema gang. They are a terroist group from the Planet Analouge and they are at war with Di Gi Charat. She loves being bad and is extremely annoying. She hates Dejiko, but she calls her "Onee-san" (older sister).Her full name is Pyocola Analouge III, Panda Musame(Panda Brat). She uses the Kuchikara BAZOOKA.
Rik-
Rik is the brains of the PKO (Pyocola Keeping Operations). He's a vet and loves animals.
Ky-
Ky is the middle man. He's a dentist, which is cool cause he's only 13.
Coo-
Coo is the youngest member of PKO and a giant spaz. He and Pyoko have known eachother for a long time and it appears he has a crush on her. He's a doctor. (Also 13.)
Minagawa Takuro-
He's a shy little boy who is a huge fan of Rabi and has a crush on her. He can exorcise angry clam spirits. (Super weird!)
Kimura Takuro-
A bishounen who can be rather uptight about grammer and beautiful things. He adores Puchiko more than anything though she doesn't seem to enjoy having him follow her around.
