The Fantastic World of Mika and D.J.
These are me and my girlfriend Ayako's dogs,
Mika on the left and D.J. on the right. Mika is a 3 year old Doberman/Beagle
mix. Her hobbies are begging for people food (her favorite tactic is to drool on
you until you give her something just to get her away), sleeping, guarding
Ayako, scavenging trash cans, and snapping at other dogs who try to smell her
butt. D.J. is a 3 year old Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle mix. His hobbies include
chewing tennis balls and women's underwear, trying to lean out the car window on
the freeway, mounting female AND male dogs twice his size, and pissing on the
heads of smaller dogs who try to smell his butt. We got both of them from a
Beagle rescue shelter in early 1997. They are high maintenance dogs, but they
both have a lot of personality, and are always fun to be around.
