Sailor Baraqiel Part 1

------------------------------------

The sun shown through the stained glass windows, casting a rainbow over the sleeping form of
Teressa. Vermillion firey gold melted easily against the sheets. The green only blended in
with the emereld hue of the comforter, but the aqua marine and violet were definately eye
catching. Seems the patch of sun that so warmy lit the room mere seconds ago was just a
momentary pleasure, for soon it was gone again. The smell of rain was in the air, and outside
the large picture window of her room, the streets below were covered in a thick layer of London
fog. For once, there was silence in the house. Obviously Teressa had slept through her sister's
departure for school.

"Mmmm...what time is it?" mumbled a very grumpy teen. Her hand fluttered up to the clock and
dragged the little rectangular thing down in front of her eyes.

"WHAT?!" Her eyes blinked twice in disbelief. Neither rubbing them or contining to blink seemed
to change the time.

"Well, so much for watching that show at five A.M." She sighed and rolled back over in her bed,
tucking her hands beneath her pillow. The sound of someone pounding on the front door was the
only thing that drug her out of her warm and comfortable blankets. Bang, bang, bang. The door
kept rattling away, obviously the person on the other side was being impatient.

Hurriedly, she tossed an old pair of jeans and a wrinkled white t-shirt on, then hopped off
through the doorway and down the stairs. Bangbangbang!

"Hold your horses!" she grumbled irritably enough. It seemed as though this was one of those
few things that could turn a normally cheerful girl sour.

She flung the door open without even looking through the peephole first, to be faced with a
tall, dark and handsome mail deliverer. Her hair a mess, she ran her fingers through it,
trying to put some order to the chaos that curled on top of her head. "May I help you?"

"Package for Boemar Skycannon. Sign here please."

Heaving somewhat of a sigh, Teressa jotted down her name on the piece of paper the man held
out to her. Taking the box then in her arms, she offered the man one last smile. "Thanks."

"Just doing my job ma'am."

"Yeah yeah," she muttered as she shut the door, watching the man retreat through the peephole.
"Why are the cute ones always so dedicated to their work, or taken by other girls? Ah well...
I've got more important things to do than to swoon over men anyways. Let's see..." She shuffled
her feet over towards the little pot of violets she'd planted just days ago, in time to see the
first few buds appear. The smile on her lips was so soft, it were as though she were looking
motherly like over her child. "I knew those seeds weren't bad yet."

Her feet again started to move, pushing her body towards the stairs, where she deposited
Boemar's package by her door. "Wonder what she got this time." Another shrug, and she continued
on her way out to the kitchen. Her voice filled the halls as she sang her greeting to the
morning.

"Friends are friends forever...hmmhmmhmmhmmhmmhmmhmm."

Her vocal exercise was interrupted however by a ring of the phone. Thankfully, she hadn't sat
down just yet, and so pushed herself towards the cordless.

"Hello? Hi ma, yes ma...no ma. Of course ma...some guy stopped by...no! He's not my boyfriend!
He was delivering a package for Boemar." She pauses and grits her teeth. "No I don't know what
it is...no I won't open it! It's /her/ mail, let her take care of it...who knows? Maybe she
bought us some replacement parts for some of our gizmos."
