I'm planning on making my own invitations. We're trying to watch costs & we [I] figured this would be a good place to do it. I'm figuring we need 125 invites & looking at the prices of the only invites I liked from the various invite companies, no way did we want to spend that much money. I'm also doing our own response postcard & map card. I'll post pics as I get them done/am happy with how they turned out [2 entirely different things].
Reponse Postcard
Here's the front & back of the response postcard I made. I might change the graphic at the top on the back, but this is the general idea. I might also change the e-pic I used for the front, but probably not. We do not have a [working] color printer, so B&W they are... And, if I get them printed instead of running them through our printer, much cheaper.
This is the other design I'm thinking about using on the back.
These are my "inspiration" invitations. I'm taking elements of all of them & hoping the invites I make look even half as nice as I envision.
Here are some pictures that I was thinking of tying in somehow. Unfortunately, we don't have a color printer [well, we do but honey insists that we hook it up AT THE SAME TIME as the black & white laser -- that's a bucket of worms I don't want to mess with -- and, it's been sitting for 2 years & probably doesn't even work anymore]. They're still beautiful though...
