"YAMERO!"

Shinken in hand, Kamui jumped down from the top of Tokyo Tower and plunged the Holy Sword into its base. Slowly, a bluish-white light seeped from the ground, enveloping Kamui as the air danced around him from the release of the kekkai’s power.

The light began to grow, spreading outwards.

Caught unawares, both the Seals and the Angels failed to notice the danger they were in. Even /Kamui/ did not know what Kamui was up to.

Too late. Before they knew what hit them, everything went white.

After what seemed to be an eternity, the blinding light diminished. As Kamui opened his eyes, he saw glittering shards of illumination reflecting off the ice that now covered what had once been Tokyo.

He marveled at the effects of the power he alone commanded.

As he walked across this barren field of ice, a sense of cold satisfaction swept through him when he saw those familiar faces frozen forever in surprise beneath his feet.

Flakes of snow began to fall as he looked up into a sky – clear in a way the Tokyo sky has never been.

He walked on, looking at ordinary objects as if seeing them for the first time. In the horizon he sees a familiar shape.

                The Sakura Tree.

He walked towards it and saw that it too had frozen. Almost curiously, he extended his hand to touch it. Barely had his fingers made contact with it when he heard a cracking sound akin to a moan.

He watched in fascination as the cracks spread. In a dazzling display, the Sakura Tree, the symbol of sublime evil, shattered.  Its fragments carried by the wind creating a sound like chimes disturbed by a child's hand. Even an evil that has persisted throughout time, cannot withstand the Power of Kamui.

He looked around one more time, a peaceful smile finally settling on his often-serious features, and he said, "As promised, I have done what you've asked."

He laid down where the Tree once stood, his form becoming ethereal, as the spirits of the three people he loved most in life appeared. With the same serene smile on their faces, they silently bore him away.
