Amiboshi is my third-favorite Seiryuu character. He's just so cute and sweet, plus he plays pretty music, and that's always a positive.

I am not going to have a shrine to his younger twin brother, Suboshi, simply because.... I don't like Suboshi! No matter what his motivations, or the fact that Nakago manipulated him, he still killed Tamahome's family, and that is completely unforgiveable in my book. (Poor little Yuiren! :(

Amiboshi on the other hand, 'does' deserve a shrine. He is the only completely good member of the Seiryuu side, (then again, Soi wasn't really evil, she just loved Nakago, and that made her loyal to the Seiryuu side. Too bad she can't have him, Naka-chan is MINE! ;) but he is the only one to ally himself with the Suzaku side, even going to the point of saying, "If it had been possible, I wish I could have been born a Suzaku shichiseishi."

And sheesh, now that I think about it, he's also the only member of the Seiryuu side that survives at the end. (good, he deserved to live!)

I've heard some funny (if cruel) nicknames put forth for Amiboshi, ranging from, `flute-boy' to `marching band reject' In all fairness, I suppose that people want to put him down because his only power is his flute, but if you think about it, the boy can KILL people just by playing a tune, that `is' pretty impressive! Oh okay, I suppose the technical term for his seishi power is that he can `project his chi through his mouth' (is it just me or does that sound a bit perverted? ;)

But, unfortunately, like 80% of the good-looking males in this series, he falls for Miaka, though it should be noted that, like Nuriko, he felt that she belonged with Tamahome, and so decided not to interfere with their relationship. Though that `would' have been weird, the priestess of Suzaku dating one of Seiryuu's warriors. But then again, they `would' have made a cute couple, and they're actually the same age. Yeah! double date! Miaka ends up with Amiboshi, and Yui ends up with Suboshi, THAT would be weird! heheh :)

Then again, I'm sure that if Ami-chan would've had a choice in the matter, he would've chosen NOT to have been born a warrior at all, since he so hated war and fighting.
