Part 1:
Mamoru couldn't believe it was Usagi. He had left Tokyo because of those damn dreams and he just wanted to forget it ever happened. Now she was here and there was nothing he could do about.
Usagi was happy to get away from Tokyo and away from all those memories. She headed off to her first class.
"Today, we have a new student with us. Her name is Usagi Tskunio." the proffesor said.
"Wow, she's beautiful, I'm going to make her my girlfriend for sure." Matthew said gazing at her.
Matthew was a Sophmore. He had brown eyes and stunning blue eyes. He was the second most popular boy in the whole college and played on the soccer team. But he had a rival. Matthew sneered just thinking about him. He was a senior with ebony hair and stormy blue eyes. He was the most popular boy on college. He was the head of his class, the captain of the soccer team, Matthew always came second rate compared to him. His name was Mamoru Chiba, the big man on campus. Matthew was going to make sure that he got Usagi before Mamoru did. This was a game that his rival wasn't going to win.
Usagi sat down at the desk next to Matthew.
"Hi" she said giving him a smile that seemed to light up the whole room.
"Uh.Um.Hi" he stuttered, amazed by her beauty. Her long blode hair that she let cascade down her back and her bright blue eyes and pouty lips. The bell rang and the class scrambled up to leave.
"Usagi, I love you." Matthew whispered when she was out of earshot with a sly smile on his lips.
"Hi!" Usagi heard a cheerful voice behind her. She turned around to see a petite girl with cherry curls framiing her face a bug green eyes.
"Hi, my name is Rebecca! You and me can be friends!" she said.
Usagi smiled back at her.
"I would like that." she replied.
"I just have to give you a warning, I'm a loud mouth and love to gossip!" Rebecca said.
"That's fine with me." Usagi replied happily.
"Are you going to the Spring Dance?" Rebecca asked.
"Everyone's going. Also it's so much fun, the two most popular guys in school try to beat each other every year, trying to get the prettiest girl. I know one of them will pick you. Anyway they are complete rivals." she said.
"i would love to go! What are the two guys names?" Usagi asked nonchantly
"Well, ones a sophmore, you were sitting next to him during English, his name is Matthew Thompson. He plays goalie for the soccer team and is vice president. He's the second most ppular guy on campus. The other is a senior. He's the captain of the soccer team, head of his class, president, and he's the most popular guy on campus. His name is Mamoru Chiba." Rebecca replied casually.
Usagi stiiffened at the metion of *his* name.
"What did you say his name was." she managed to choke out.
"Mamoru Chiba" she replied nonchantly.
"Oh" Usagi said.
"I can't believe he is here! I left Tokyo just to get away from him and now he's here!" Usagi thought frantically.
"What wrong?" Rebecca asked concerned.
"It's just that Mamoru is my ex" Usagi sighed.
"You've gone out with Mamoru Chiba!" Rebecca shouted.
All the girls in the hallway stopped dead in heir tracks.
"You've gone out with Mamoru Chiba!" all the girls exclaimed.
Usagi felt a blush starting to creep across her face.
"I really just wanted to forget about it." Usagi said to Rebecca with cleched teeth.
"Ooh, sorry, messy break-up." she replied slipping off to her next class.
"Oh yeah, you and me share dorms!" Rebecca shouted to Usagi while running down the hall.
Usagi slammed her locker shut and sighed.
"Well since he's going to be here, I guess I'll give him something to be sorry for." she said with a michevious glint in her eye.
Usagi was so glad the day was over. She was so tired. Suddenly she felt a firm tap on her shoulder. She twirled around to see a beautiful girl. She was tall and had long brown hair that curled a few inches below her butt, also she had emerald, almond shaped eyes.
"So you're Mamoru's ex." she stated coldly glaring at her.
"Mamoru broke up with me today because of you! Did you think I've haven't noticed him staring lustily at you all day!" she shouted pushing Usagi.
Before Usagi hit te ground she felt a pair of strong arms around her. She looked up to see a man with brown hair and stunning blue eyes.
"Thank you" she mumbled.
"Just because Mamoru broke up with a bitch like you doesn't mean you have to take it out on her, Bridgette!" Matthew shouted.
Bridgette just glared at him coldly and walked away.
"Thank You" Usagi said again.
"Don't let her intimadate you. She's the most popular girl in school and it's really gotten to her head especially since she was dating Mamoru." he said the last word bitterly.
Usagi gave him a huge smile and walked away.
Mamoru was watching Matthew holding Usagi, his Usagi.
"How dare he think of taking my Usako. Well I guess there is a litle competion for her heart." he thought And Mamoru Chiba always played to win.
