DAY: 2
Malachite peered through the bushes to see Endymion and Serenity floating comfortably in each others' arms.
Malachite chuckled silently to himself.
"Could this be the one?" Malachite thought.
"Probably not. It's probably just one of Endymion's *whim* as he calls it. He just lays a woman a few times, gets bored, and moves unto the next one. I would die if he actually made love to a woman he actually loved," he continued thinking to himself.
Just then Endymion heard a crack behind the bushes. He whirled around out of Serenity's arms.
"Who's there?" he demanded angrily as he swam towards shore.
"Damn," Malachite muttered as he looked at the twig his foot just snapped.
He sneaked out of the bushes as quickly as possible to avoid Endymion.
Endymion got dressed quickly.
"Gods, I can't believe someone was spying on us," he muttered angrily as he pulled on his boots.
Serenity splashed the water with an annoyed look upon her face.
"Someone sure knows how to ruin a moment," she mumbled to herself as she slowly got out of the water.
Endymion stared at her in awe. His eyes roaming hungrily over her wet, naked body. She slowly pulled on her wet dress.
"Could you please zipper this for me?" she asked innocently.
He just nodded in reply as his hands shakily zippered her up.
"Thanks," she whispered softly.
They both grew silent
"What a great body he has," Serenity thought to herself as her eyes wandered of his tight muscular chest. Her face turned a bright red when she noticed his arousal and she unconsiously lickd her lips.
"We better get back," she said breaking the akward silence.
"Yeah," he said slowly leading her back to the palace.
They walked in silence for the rest of the way.
"Well, Good Night Serenity," Endymion said as Serenity opened the door to her bedroom.
"Thanks for a wonderful evening," she said softly as their lips drew closer.
"Oh, Endymion,' Malachite's voice echoed throughout the hallways.
He drew away from Serenity quickly.
"Hold on a second!" he shouted back.
"Um. Good Night," he said uncomfortably as he walked quickly away.
"Good Night Love," Serenity whispered when he was out of earshot.
She walked into the bedroom and sat down in front of the mirror udoing her odangos and running a brush through her long silver hair.
She gingerly touched her lips where Endymion kissed.
She sighed as she fell unto the bed.
"I love you Endymion," she whispered breathlessly, her eyes fluttering closed as she fell into a peaceful slumber.
"What did you want, Malachite?" Endymion asked him a tad annoyed.
"I'm sorry to interrupt you and your girlfriend," he replied mockingly.
Endymion aimed a hit at Malachite but he skillfully dodged.
'Nah, ah, ah," Malachite replied shaking s finger at him.
"Now don't go getting all pissed," he chided.
"I don't love her," Endymion mumbled.
"I think you do, especially what I saw happening between you two in the lake," he replied with a grin.
"You were spying on us, you little.." Endymion shouted but Malachite raised his hand indicating silence.
"Your mother wanted me to tell you that me and you are to ride out to the village tomorrow morning there seems to be some problem there and she wants us to check it out, we'll be back sometime in the early morning hours, thats if you don't mind missing your beauty rest," Malachite said mockingly but the grin was quickly wiped off his face when he caught the cold look Endymion was giving him.
"Oh and another thing, your dear cousin Diamond is coming late tomorrow morning," he added.
Malachite laughed as he saw the prince grimace.
"Oh what a shame, we won't be able to meet him," Endymion replied sarcastically.
"Come, you should get to bed, we have a busy day tomorrow." Malachite said as he started to turn around.
"I suppose you're right" he sighed as he also turned around, and the prince and his general both went their separate ways.
The next morning, Serenity watched mournfully as her prince and his general mounted their horses.
"I can't believe he's leaving me for a day, I only have three days and I want to spend as much time with him as possible," she thought angrily to herself.
"Good-bye Princess," Endymion said soflty as he turned his horse towards the horizon but as he saw the sad look in his princess's eyes. His heart broke in two.
He dismounted quickly.
"Don't look so sad, Serenity I'll only be gone a day.
"More like an eternity," she whispered to herself which went unnoticed by Endymion.
"Here something to remember me by during the time I'm gone," he said reaching in his pocket and pulling out a beautiful gold chain. On the chain was an emerald in the shape of a heart and al around it were small blue diamonds.
Endymion walked over to Serenity and put the necklace on her.
She shuddered feeling his hot breath on the back of her neck as his large hand fumbled with the small latch.
"It's beautiful," she murmured as she touched it gently.
Malachite coughed rather noticeabably in the background.
"Oh, yeah, we must be going we're late already," Endymion said quickly, a small blush creeping upon his face.
"Goodbye Endymion," Serenity said with a smile.
"Goodbye Princess," he replied huskily his cold blue eyes devouring her body making Serenity's mouth catch in her throat and her knees buckle, and with that they were off.
Endymion's mother who also had come to see his son off stared at Serenity with a skeptical look upon her face. "That necklace has been in the royal earthern family forever and Endymion was supposed to give it to the girl he loved and planned to marry, but he just gave it to this girl who claimed she was a princess. For all she knew this girl could be some peasant gold digger. Well we shall see how all this unravels, but as of now I will be keeping a close eye on you, Serenity," the queen thought to herself.
"Although she is quite pretty," she added on a lighter note.
"Come Serenity, we must change into something more decent, Endymion's cousin is coming," the queen said as she started back towards the palace.
"Hmm," Serenity thought as she gazed into the horizon unconsiously playing with the necklace that was just bestowed upon her from Endymion.
She let out a sigh and followed the queen of Earth back into the palace.
"Uh, why does that lousy nephew of mine have to be coming," the queen said to her lady in waiting.
"I don't care for him too much myself, Mi Lady," she replied tying the back of the queen's gown.
"And I have heard these awful rumors flying around that he has joined that colt of dark magic, you know the ones that call themselves the Negaforce," the queen continued smoothing down her hair in front of the mirror.
"But family's family, and I did love his parents so," she sighed.
The room then fell into a thoughtful silence.
Serenity and the queen waited in the throne room for Diamond's arrival.
"Your higness, he is here, shall I show him in," a servant asked the queen. She nodded in approval.
"Hello, Diamond, nie to see you again," the queen said with a smile.
"Your higness," he said bowing.
"Serenity, this is Lord Diamond, Endymion's cousin, he will be staying with us for a week," the queen said glancing over towards her.
"Endymion found her, quite injured in the meadows by the palace and we are taking care of her until she regains her memory. She is of course a princess, have you any idea who she is?"
"Can't say I do," Diamond replied softly.
Serenity squirmed ucomfortably in her seat as the man with light blue hair and violet eyes stared at her undressing her with those cool eyes, she did not welcome this look as she did with Endymion. "Well I hope to see much more of you Serenity. I am quite tired from my journey and will be retreating to my room, Good Night, your highness, Serenity," Diamond bowed as he walked out of the room. Seremity's body immediately relaxed and she let out a deep sigh. "Yes, I would like seeing much more of you Serenity, especially what's under that silver gown," Diamond thought with a laugh. "Endymion has always been the lucky one with women, that bedhopper, but you Serenity will be mine. You must have a heart that glitters like a diamond I see, a heart that will glitter just for me," he said quietly an evil smile tugging at the sides of his mouth.
